So, if you get more than one set, you can control multiple receivers with the same remote. I started with one box of three, then couldn’t resist and ordered another. The media could not be loaded. Insanely easy to setup!! The remote control battery comes wrapped in plastic so it stays fresh and does not use any charge, which is great. Once you install it in the remote, plug one or all three outlets in to whatever outlet you choose. From there, all you need to do is press the on/off button for whatever outlets you wish to turn on. It works like magic and I am really impressed!!! It has absolutely no delay and turns on or off almost immediately.I thought I was going to have to program the outlet to the remote, but almost no thought has to be done and it works exceptional. I am absolutely thrilled that this solved my problem and I won't need to bend over the couch to plug and unplug my light whenever I want.Absolutely worth every single dollar, and it was not even expensive! Run, don't walk for this item if you have the same issue and are looking for an easy way to turn on lights without unplugging!!!

These things are great!They came with the remote controls pre-programmed to the outlets, so there was no setup necessary other than to plug the outlets into the desired electrical wall sockets, and remove the protective tape strips from the controllers' batteries to activate them.The signals from the remotes go through walls, closets, built-in wooden room dividers etc., with no problems. And, they operate for a long distance. From the bedroom remote we can control the five outlets we've selected (one in that bedroom, one in the family room, two in the front parlor, and one in the dining room). From the second remote in the family room, we can also control the five outlets.We are using our outlets to control specific lamps, but you might want to use yours for lower voltage appliances such as a floor fan or pet water fountain...just be sure the type of appliance and voltage are within the specs and guidelines the manufacturer provides.We've found the remote outlets to be extremely useful (e.g., turn on lights wherever we want, without having to go into another room in the dark to dial a lamp switch; turn off the lamp on the end table on the far side of the bed when we are drifting off to sleep). We can even activate the lava lamp on top of the room divider, without having to get up and walk into the dining room! And, the remote control outlets save wear and tear on the switches in our lamps as well.The outlets have a physical switch in them that activates when one hits the "on" button (an audible "click" can be heard, and a red LED light comes on to let you know the outlet is now live). When you select "off", another click can be heard, and the LED goes off.We've had our set for a month now, and have had zero problems. The batteries in the remote controllers seem as fresh as the day we got them. All five outlets are working perfectly, with no issues, problems, or overheating.Therefore, based upon our experiences thus far, I feel confident in giving the remote controlled outlets a "5 Star" rating, and recommend them highly.

Use in our shop as we have added additional lights fir specific areas. Being able to turn on/off from my seat is helpful.

This is our third purchase of this type of device. This brand also works great! It makes turning off lights after you’ve gotten into bed so much easier. We also use it to control our white noise machine. There are 5 numbered plugs which coincide with buttons on 2 remotes. May also be used for Christmas or other holiday lighting or in a school classroom to control task lighting quickly and efficiently. I gave this a 4 because one of the batteries was used (unwrapped and dead). Replacement batteries aren’t standard so they’re more expensive. Regardless, I do recommend this product.
