Espresso-Ohhhh!
Very good espresso powder. I used it to make espresso buttercream frosting, and it not only added a flavor kick, it smells amazing! Easy to add to a recipe … I’ll keep this stocked in my pantry.

Pale, but effective
I use this in baking, and it does give the same chocolate-boost effect. It's just a little pale looking compared to the old Medaglia D'Oro brand. At the time I bought this, the old brand wasn't available. If it comes back, I'll go back. Meanwhile - this is an acceptable substitute.

Finally found espresso powder! Yay.
I have been looking for espresso powder in the grocery store so I could stop using instant coffee in my chocolate cake recipes. I was happy to find a product. It is not a large bottle but the price seemed reasonable and I really needed it.However, It has a good coffee fragrance and you only need a little bit to really bring out the chocolate flavor in baked goods. I'm happy with the purchase and will buy again.

BEST Coffee Flavoring I Have Found
ATK did a video on coffee flavorings and selected Civilized as their winner. I went out and bought this small bottle right away and started using it in my Crème Brule - fantastic flavor! Loved it so much that we bought a Ninja Creami to go with it - LOL! My husband has been waiting YEARS for a lactose free coffee ice cream. I've even emailed Lactaid several times - well they have lost our business forever now. I make THE BEST lactose free coffee ice cream in my Ninja that there is no reason to buy a commercial brand ice cream ever again! I just placed an order for this same flavoring in the larger size since at 1 tsp per 24 oz ice cream container, we're going through it pretty quick. If you don't use it up as quickly as we do, maybe invest in an order of small food grade desiccant packs to keep it from clumping. Buy this with confidence for all of your coffee flavoring needs!
