About a year ago, after injuring my back, I found I could no longer stand in the shower, which prompted me to buy the Oasis Space bath stool.It was a godsend, but not a very comfortable one. The seat was hard and very painful to sit on, so I retrieved a section of bubble wrap and cut it to fit. It worked well enough, but it turns out sitting on sticky plastic isn’t all that pleasant. That’s when I saw the Oasis Space seat cushion on Amazon, and decided to give it a try.The first thing I noticed, besides its light weight — just a few ounces — was the outer covering. It’s a breathable mesh, very soft to the touch, with just enough texture to keep it securely in place without sticking to the skin. It also seems quite durable.Of course sitting on it is the only test that mattered, and I found it very comfortable — a big improvement over the bubble wrap. The foam is both soft and dense — a seeming contradiction — and has just the right amount of give without completely flattening under pressure.According to the manufacturer, the cushion was designed with 10 large drain holes, invisible to the eye, that disperse the water, making it quick-drying and resistant to mildew and mold. They even included a plastic hook for hanging in the shower.The bottom line is that this seat cushion is a keeper. Only time will tell how well it wears, of course, but at this point I’m certainly happy to give it five stars out of five. One side note: I love the American flag sewn next to the tag, clearly an effort to promote and celebrate US-Sino relations. That’s a good thing.

I used it on the shower chair for my ailing father. He is nothing but skin & Bones so the plastic chair was just to painful. I used this twice now & he sits down & isn’t in pain. I also like the fact that it has a hook on it & you can hang it up to dry

Made in USA, which I love.Just purchased a replacement cushion after more than 2 years of regular use with the old one.It adds a perfect cushion on the shower chair for my elderly mother.Ideally, this product should be hung to dry between use. If you leave it to sit, air will not flow, so it will not dry properly, and mold may grow.When living at home, my mother hung hers outside in the sun to dry, which kept it good as new for a long time.Now she is in an assisted living where she relies on others to help her, so sometimes they forget to hang it to dry.

it’s super comfy but only thing is the mesh material leaves little marks from sitting too long which aren’t painful but the if material wasn’t like that with tiny little holes it might be super comfy but definitely a good buy

Sometimes I like to just enjoy my shower from a seated position. This works great

I needed a cushion for my shower chair for ankle surgery that was coming up. I needed something soft to put my knee on since I would not be able to stand on my leg for six plus weeks and the shower chair seat was too hard. This cushion was perfect. It was thick and stayed in place and drained very easily after use with the attached hook. Some reviews said that the cushion had a funny smell. I do not have any smell at all. I highly recommend.
