Work as advertised, excellent battery range
Update: is there a way to buy the sensors array individually? There are as some damage due to wind s branch broke the wind vane. Salon will like to know this in case another sensor could fail. RegardsI was able to add a local sim card (Guatemala) and was ready to go reporting to WU every 5 minutes, the battery once charged connecting via USB, lasted more than 5 days without using the solar panel.

Decent when it works
Worked great for a few months, then apparently the cheap OEM battery can't hold enough charge. Gets down to 6% consistently, then shuts off, then comes back to life 5 days later only to die again, updates when it wants to. Stopped updating wunderground, but still updated ecowitt web site when it decides to come to life. Extremely disappointed for the money we spent that it only lasted around 2 months.

Working fine
Take your time,,, Read instructions thoroughly (maybe twice), Then begin the setup procedures..I used the (Speed Talk Mobile) $5 pre-paid GSM Sim Card for my application. It appears to have enough data @ 15 minute update intervals.I set the system up to report data to Weatherunderground.com .Overall the system has worked perfectly to date...

Easy to set up and works great
It is not the final installation...the overall quality is very good, plastics, panel and the 3G module look good. I inserted a simcard of a local provider and the set up was very easy. I'm very happy with the product, already ordered a second unit.

Limited interface; not inside display except your computer
I cannot find a SD micro sim card that works with this, thus no recorded data. (I tried three)No console display on indoor unit; must use computer software.Date/time cannot be reset.A low battery indicator is on; what battery? Do I have to use the solar panel to power the indoor receiver? That sux. The receiver is plugged into my computer via USB cable. That power doesn't work?Every time I start the program I get several "updates available" None works.Data seems accurate enough considering the senders location (woods and fences).OK plastic quality; it should last a few years

Does not work with Verizon or AT&T unlimited data sim card.
Does not work with Verizon or AT&T unlimited data sim card. Also does not recognize the Micro SD card. Will return unless costumer support kicks in. But until then this rating is accurate. P.S. I am tech savvy and could not get this to work.

Works as advertised
The set up procedures are straightforward, and the manual is very clear. Everything worked - including being able to exchange text messages with the unit to get its status and weather updates. We were also able to upload its data to one of the weather web sites. Very pleased.

Did not send data to cell phone
I could not get it to connect to At&t to send a signal to a cell phone like was advertised. Tech support was not helpful. Returned it.
