'Clairvoyant'
I prize this book. This is oen book that we all have to have dog eared because of how it fits into our lives and helps us to fill the gaps we have been searching for wasy to fill. A total bible on the concept of getting rich. Kiyosaki gets down to the point of the principle of getting rich. No hassle, no complexities. Its simple, the rich have money work for them, acquiring things that put money into their pocket and the poor do the opposite. After reading this book, and you attempt to apply the principles, I can ASSURE you that your mindset will have changed into a higher level of thinking completely. Creative ways will be revealed in your imagination as the knowledge from this book saturates your mind.I recommend this book to be bought for self-acquisition, as a gift to friends and even to teenagers. I even have bought one to add to my 2+ year old's collection for read when eh gets older. I will be buying his other books especially for teaching kids about money. Robert you are a blessing to us.

A good read, informative for someone who is truly from the "wrong side of the tracks"
I have not yet finished this book but am enjoying it thus far. It has the usual pitfalls of "success secrets" type of books in that the writing is not great and ideas are repeated numerous times (ostensibly to help drill it into the readers head but perhaps more likely to fill up some pages to make the book seem more significant than it is). But Kiyosaki is only doing what all the other guys do to sell their titles on becoming wealthy!I am truly the son of poor parents who had minimum paying jobs their entire lives and never understood enough about money to be able to offer any legitimate advice to their offspring. As such I have wasted too much of my life not building my wealth but rather "investing" more or less in what Kiyosaki calls liabilities whenever spare money was to be found.I don't know why at this particular time I'm feeling inspired by this particular title - it's likely no better, but certainly no worse than other writers - but I do recommend it especially for those of us who genuinely have no idea how differently those with wealth think and how they view money and wealth. At the ripe old age of 52 I'm hoping it's not too late to begin amassing my wealth!

An inspiring introduction to thinking differently about finances
Your home is a liability.Sounds crazy to most people, but when you think about it - especially in the simplified way the author presents it - it's true. Investments being money in, while liabilities cost us money, and that house is draining hundreds or thousands out of your pocket every month. Knowing this difference is what differentiates the rich from the poor and struggling middle.Kiyosaki doesn't go into great detail about the ins and outs of how to get started with that first investment, but he does provide a good overview, so you at least have an idea of what you don't know and where to go from here. He also provides a list of more actionable items anyone can start employing immediately, before even making that first investment. The book, itself, is an easy read. I got done with it in 4-5 hours, and I'm a slow reader. However, it has quite a bit of great information, some of which was no-doubt lost on me this first time around. I fully plan to come back to this book and read it again after I've put some of the actionable items into play. The biggest thing I didn't care for was that a good chunk of the middle was spent talking in abstract terms about real estate investing, and for a time, it felt like that was his only recommended source of income. I would have loved to see him touch a little more on the other alternative forms of income in this section. I also would have loved to see more stories about his childhood in this section, as those seemed to abruptly stop partway through. Finally, I will say this: to fully understand the purpose and message of this book, you need to be ready to set aside what you think you know. You need to be ready to at least consider turning conventional wisdom and everything you learned on its head. Sit back and think about the decisions he describes and dig into the whys behind them. Don't let knee-jerk disagreement get in the way. If you think his statement that a person's house is a liability is contradictory to his later talk about investing in real estate, then you need to think more about the differences between the two and how the earlier description of assets versus liabilities applies.

I think this book is a must read. It is clear, it goes straight to the point and it is easy to understand too.
I would recommend everybody to read this book. It is really inspiring and eye opening. It not only shows how money works but also it teaches you a lot about yourself and why you are stuck in the same situation all the time. Thank you very much Robert T.Kiyosaki for sharing what you know with the world.

For sure you will learn something.
You notice a pattern once you read books about how to make money. Bottom line is this : Achieve something big enough to establish credibility and write about it then you'll make enough money with the books to augment your credibility and write a sequel of how to get richer.ORWrite a book about how other people get rich, make money with the books and after you receive money from the books you sale, put your name on the list of rich guys and write other books with different names. Rinse and repeat. Is it beautiful ? It's so simple to be rich when you sale your book for 10$ to 1 million people who want to be rich and don't know how so they buy a book thinking it will help them. It helped me to be a poor cynical.Of course I could do the same as them but I don't know, It's a little something , what is it called again ? Ah yeah, have a conscience and empathy but hey, I sure know how to make money now.
