Kiss Root Straightener 1/2'

This root straightener is a really good product, it works well for the front, back and over the ears where hair is usually short and fine. Great for kids. Really save because the black part is all touchable, so if a child grabed it they would not get burned. I would definately recommend it, and would give it five stars but I think I should have bought the bigger one, but since it is so light weight and easy to move with I can still use it even though the hairs are longer than I thought. FYI if you have a short hair cut you will love this product as well.Val Ford, M.Ed.

If you end up with an edge close to your scalp where your flat iron couldn't get close enough, this little stick will help smooth the root hair so it meets the straightened hair without that ugly ridge. Like another reviewer I read, the protective comb edges are nice in that you don't have to worry about accidentally burning yourself, especially when you're working on those challenging little baby hairs that are hard to get a grip on and simultaneously fit a normal larger straightener in between your fingers and your scalp.I don't use this often but it does the trick when needed.

Loveeeeeeeeee this. OMG, let me tell you. Ok us black girls with the coarse hair, this one's for you. I use it in between perms and it works wonders. I don't get the Dominican blow outs anymore bc of this. Saves me so much money. I also use this in the middle and back of my head if my perm is long overdue. It doesn't burn, they say you can use on kids but leave the kid alone and let her be a kid. I love this product.

I only used it once to see how it heated up. I was surprised that it did not have a carrying case. It's a good thing I have one from another root straightener (which broke and the company is no longer in business). I would be nice to know if they had a 1".

Doesn't get super straight but it gets it straight enough to get by when hair is getting to frizzy. I do like it and I will keep it. Make sure to get a good heat protectant because this device does get hot.

A bit larger than my previous edge stick but it's doing the job.

Okay. Doesn't get my roots completely straight but does better and less scary than using a flat iron so close to the scalp.
