Great for riding, spurs fit too. Limited insulation.
Great as muck boots and I can ride in them after a days work. My spurs fit over them only having to extend by one notch larger with the spur straps as opposed to wearing them over low profile paddock boots. And to my surprise they also offer great lower leg grip too. I ordered my regular size and would not be able to wear extra thick socks for additional warmth. So far I have not had the opportunity to wear in less than 30* and my feet did get a little cold so I'm not sure if they will be warm enough for sub freezing temps. Update, still ok for riding warmth but not for walking in deep snow. The top of the foot section is not cold insulated. 5 months in the and the criss cross pattern is cracking where my ankle flexes on the inside. Still love them for riding. I leave the spurs on hem and the boots can still slip on and off easily enough.

Love!
I really like these boots. I have very thick calves and they just fit...the neoprene top also gives them some stretch. The footbed is very squishy and comfortable. We rode 4 wheelers for several hours and my feet stayed nice and warm. It's nice to have a warm, practical, and stylish boot!

Strange fit
I really wanted to love these boots but the fit is just not quite right. I wear 9 in just about everything so I purchased a 9. Length wise it's a bit big. Heel slides quite a bit which is fine because I wanted to have room for thicker socks. However across the top of the foot is really really snug, but yet the calves are huge! Not really sure what size I would even exchange them for. My calves are 14" so I expected there to be room, but if I was throwing hay I'd be taking a ton of hay home in my boots. They may just be my muddy pasture catching boots and not much else. Other than that they are very squishy, warm and stylish for a mud boot. Dont think I would ride in them though just because of how big and bulky they are. Wishing I had tried them on somewhere first before couch surfing amazon...

Order up a size or 2.
I usually wear a woman’s size 5, but got a 6 and these boots were way too tight! Order up!

overall great boot, few quirks
so I'm still mixed on these. i got them 2 months ago for working in iowa winters. I drive a lot, work in heated buildings, but do a lot of treking back and forth from my truck to the building in the snow. the very top of the boot is tight around my calf.... i don't have wide calves, but there is no tucking boot cut jeans in them. only skinny jeans or legging. my boot cut jeans fit nicely over them though. there is little traction on slick snow/ice. and if you have to stand in snow for long periods, they aren't very warm. bulky winter boots are better.. driving for an hour or 2 in my truck, if i have the heat on the floor board, my feet get VERY hot from the rubber. so insulation in the foot bed i guess isn't as good as i expected. they also run a bit narrow. from the ball of my big toe to the ball of my pinky toe felt very squished the first week or so, but seem to be stretching out some now. no way would i wear thick socks in these. I wear a 7.5 and ordered a 7.5 the length is true to size, but just run narrow. i, for some reason expected these to look super cute in the calf area, like a riding boot, but they are a tad loose and bulky by the ankle area, much like a standard muck boot would be... i just thought it would look slimmer with this design. over all i'm happy with them, i've been wearing them daily for work, and i also wore them snowmobiling all day in temps from 0-30* on average. as long as i don't stand in ankle deep snow for more than 5 minutes, they do the job just fine!

Love them
I love these boots. I had a bad accident and broke my elbow coming of a green horse. I am very careful what kind of boots I get to wear riding. These boots are great for riding. They are warmer than my normal cowboy boots so I can wear them in the fall/winter. They are water proof so I can walk through puddles with my horse. Very comfortable after you break them in

Not actually for snow
Bought these for Christmas for my mom to wear when we are out on the snowmachines. The name says "Snow Boot". They are most definitely not for the snow. They are not at all insulated and within 25 minutes her feet were frozen and we had to switch to an older pair of boots. I am returning them today. Bummer because they are super cute.

Loves these, worth the money!
Overall these boots are great!!! I have hiked up very steep mountains, and I have hiked a total of 10 miles in the snow and mud in these (in Montana). They are a little slippery to wear when it is icy out, but I haven't found a great boot that doesn't slip when you are basically walking on an ice rink! I love these as my feet are ALWAYS cold (even in the house that is 65 deg. I wear fuzzy socks). I like the pull tab, and the way it is tapered is nice as the top of the boot is not huge. Great boot, living up to the MUCK boot name, with more style!

Fantastic
I have been wearing these boots for about a month now, for winter weather, Ontario Canada, and I love them!! They are warm, and water proof. They are tall but curved perfectly in the leg for walking. I do not ride so I do not use them for riding boots. The sole is great, and very stable. So incredibly easy to take on and off thanks to the little nub that is sticking out for grip. Would highly recommend these boots to anyone looking for a bog type substitute. I think they are even nicer than bogs personally.I wear a size 8.5 women's, and ordered a size 8 in these boots due to the reviews that they run a little big. This is accurate, as I almost could have ordered a size 7.5. But the size 8 allows a bit of room to wear a thicker sock if needed.Thank you muck boots for making such a stylish good quality boot.We also purchased a different pair of muck boots for my hubby and again!! outstanding!!

Lovely warm comfortable boots - but don't expect them to last a long time!
I have updated my original review when I first purchased these boots. This was my second pair of these boots which I only use for walking our dog in the winter months. The first pair did not quite last 2 years until the rubber split. I decided to buy another pair, in the hope that they lasted a bit longer than that, as they kept my feet so warm and were very comfortable. At the time they were cheaper on Amazon than my local country clothing store. However, after only 18 months this pair have also split in exactly the same place - where the foot bends near the toes! They are only used in the winter months so for 6 months of the time I have had them they wouldn't even have been used as I wear walking boots when its not too wet and muddy. I do not consider one actual year of use before these boots render themselves as being 'not fit for purpose' is unacceptable, especially considering how much they cost now! I am very disappointed in these boots.

Genial
Wirklich super!
