Anyone who is looking at a Chilton manual pretty much already knows what it does... I will reinforce it's usefulness. I bought this so that I can figure out what projects I can do for myself on my first project vehicle. I also wanted to be able to correctly identify parts and understand what the stock components on my vehicle are and what is aftermarket. This book is useful for anyone who wants to get under the hood of a vehicle with confidence. I also purchased the Haynes manual, both are useful, the layout is slightly different, but I do feel the Chilton manual is probably the easiest to read out of the both of them.

While this type of manual could never be detailed enough it is far better than the others I've used. It has more photos and diagrams than the Haynes manual and using them side-by-side I find I almost always prefer this manual.

I'm rebuilding one of these from the frame up, and the information in here is invaluable. I own several of the repair manuals and cross reference them to understand more on how they were built at the factory (and sometimes why they were built one way instead of another). But if you are just doing repairs, this is a really good book.

Great manual easy to follow. Everything I needed for 1974 GMC 350 4 bolt main removal & installation.

The manual is for GM Full-size trucks 1970-79. The first several pages of this manual have info for Subaru Coupes/Sadans/Wagons1985-96. These pages are key in using the manual as the VIN lookup and general information & maintenance is all for Subaru. Returned the first copy of the book and got a replacement. The replacement was exactly the same.

Bought 'second hand' - which turned out to be a probably brand new book still in its original plastic wrapping. A very good price, safe purchase, fast and trackable delivery to Sweden. Excellent!
