Works perfectly with my Genie opener. I ordered the warm white and they light up the garage well and no interference with my car remote or the MyQ.

I have a large garage and hated having dim bulbs in the garage door opener (why most have standardized on 60W is beyond me). About a year and-a-half ago I took a chance and bought the brightest-rated corncob-type bulb that would fit (dimension-wise) into my old Craftsman unit without any modifications. It was a pair rated at 3750 lumens (approx. 250W incandescent equivalent), and those bulbs did fit and work and were plenty bright and have had zero issues with the vibrations from the opener, BUT they did interfere somewhat with all of my Homelink remotes. It wasn't terrible and didn't nullify them completely, but I would often have to back slowly down the drive holding the button until it hit a spot where the signal would pick up and the door would close. Because it was only spotty, I put up with it for a while, but finally got tired and decided to try these out.The good: they are almost as bright, even though their 1700 lumen rating indicates they shouldn't be. (I think the original corncob bulbs were overrated). No more interference with Homelink - it acts like it did in the old incandescent bulb days! For my opener they fit fine and screwed in without any issue.The one negative I see so far is in comparison to the corncob bulbs: those had WAY better light distribution (which you'd expect), whereas these look like the picture and the bottom 40% of the bulb emits no light. The light I do see is nearly as bright, but there are more shadows with this type of bulb vs. a corncob type. I guess it's a bit of give-and-take, but for now I'll take them. I just wish someone would manufacture a corncob LED bulb that doesn't interfere with garage door opener frequencies.Haven't had them long enough yet to comment on durability.

These lamps fit fine into the sockets on my Overhead Door brand opener. These are virtually identical to Genie units - Overhead Door Corporation purchased the Genie company in 1994. [My opener was installed in 2008.] Some reviews said the lamp base was too large for the sockets, but as I said these fit perfectly. The LED bulbs are extremely bright, much brighter than incandescent bulbs - see photo. They are also very white light, 5000K Daylight as specified. I did not see any flickering or excessive heat.The lamps also turn on and off normally. There is no "interference" that cause the lights to stay on. The lights go on when opening or closing the door, and lights go off after after about a 5 minute delay, same as older bulbs. The remote for the opener also shows no signs of interference. The remote works from at least 200 feet away - whether the lights are on or off. All-in-all these LED bulbs are a great replacement for incandescent bulbs. They seem a bit pricey for LED equivalent bulbs, thus the 4-star rating.

Instructions were clear. Bulbs were easy to replace. Sought these bulbs out for their energy efficiency and great lighting.

I bought these because I had the old fashioned bulbs in my garage door opener and I wanted bright led ones. Well I put some in and my garage door opener wouldn't work correctly. I thought something was wrong with the opener. It was only 2 years old. It's a lift Master. I use the Wi-Fi so I can use the app with it.I would have never thought it was because of a bulb! I started googling and just happened to read that it might be the bulb. Well I bought 2 of these because they were decent priced. My garage door works perfect now! I will buy more to keep on hand!

These bulbs are brighter than the previous bulbs I had in my garage door opener.

These are junk. No different from regular LEDs. Garage door keypad stopped working immediately after putting in bulbs. Took them out, keypad works good again.

Lightbulbs I received are NOT labelled TorchStar, rather, they are no-name. This product was mis-represented. Yes, its a working LED lightbulb, but it is certainly not interference free. Immediately after installing, my Garage Doors were refusing to operate when these bulbs are lit. I have purchased GENIE Garage Door bulbs in the past, that actually DO NOT interfere with the garage door openers, unfortunately they were not available so I thought I'd try these. My mistake -- I got rid of the packaging and cannot return, consider me ripped-off.
