L'ho finito in breve tempo.

A book for the more experienced painter
The book is great for a more experienced painter. I like how he has organized it into sections to make it easy to focus on a particular element, color, value,..etc. I also like how he has written his thinking process about each step as he paints a scene. I'll keep it handy, a lot of good material.!!

Worth a place on any watercolorist's bookshelf.
How can one not like Tom Lynch. His enthusiasm is tangible as he advises artists to explore color and vibrancy in their work and to not be afraid of failure. He teaches and summarizes what he does very well and his book is worthwhile, keeping in mind that his is one of many approaches. His is not the solemn expression of a Wyeth, or the passion of a Castegnet, or the minimalist approach of Reid, but his joy of painting is contagious and his lessons worth learning.
