My spoiled Cane Corso LOVES it!!!
My big guys a mommas boy and follows me everywhere, but this bed makes it hard for him to get up! Lol. He would always be barking for me or come wake me in the mornings, but not now! I have to go wake him up in the mornings now usually. I'm NOT mad at this at ALL!! LOL.It's a great quality and so far with him being big and kind of rough when nesting, it's in perfect condition. He likes to dig and make up him spot to lay in usually, but the interior of this bed stopped that it seems. He just jumps up, spins around once or twice and lays down. It's a GREAT size as well. He's big and he can stretch out on his side if he wants and still have an edge around him. I LOVE finally seeing him so comfy cozy in a bed that fits him!!! Thank you guys so much! (Side note: I will need another cover to swap out for washing though, he's got a drooly mouth.)

Great Jumbo size pillow, super nice, soft, thick and fully.
I originally purchased this pillow for my own dog, but I knew before the purchase she is old and has balance issues due to her hips and arthritis, so it possibly wouldn't work for her. I also knew if this didn't work out for my own dog, my son has a Rottweiler to give it to so I made the purchase. My dog loved it but couldn't get on or off very easy with her stability issues, so Ruger is now enjoying this massive plump pillow at his house. My son said Ruger hasn't hardly gotten off of it since I left it there for him. I had a feeling that this pillow would be well loved and I was right, just wasn't for my dog with all her hip and arthritis problems due to her balance issues, not that she wouldn't love it.If your dog is well balanced and has no stability issues, this is a good pillow. This is, fluffy and well stuffed. Either way it is a great thick pillow that the dog will no sink to the floor on and will stay fluffy. It is now enjoyed by my Grand-Dogger who is deserving of a thick fluffy pillow for relaxation and super comfy, so it still will be loved to no end by a dog in need. The cover is well made with good seams and I'm sure if you don't dry it in a super hot dryer it would work out great for many washings. I washed my cover before giving to to Ruger and I dried in on low heat, it worked out great and dried fairly quick.Common sense would tell you if you dry many of the fabrics nowadays in a really hot dryer they could possibly shrink, so this is something I would not do. This is a problem with many fabrics not just this cover. I'm sure this cover will last a long time. Of course if you have a dog that digs and chews this could the a problem since mine is the suede fabric. I feel this is not a defect in material with the manufacturer if the dog is destructive in nature. If your dog is this type, I'd possible look at a heavier fabric such as denim or the canvas cover. A dog who doesn't chew or dig would love the suede cover that came with mine as it is soft to the touch and well stitched. The fabric appeared to be of good quality and sturdy, not a thin fabric by any means. The cover is bigger than in insert and when giving the pillow time to expand like directed, it was completely filled. After a few hours it was pretty fluffy and by the next morning it was super thick and high, completely filled. Don't be to anxious, follow your instructions and give time for the pillow time to fluff back out as it will come all compacted with the air drawn out of it and will need proper time to expand back to it's intended shape. I was surprised how big it did get after given time to expand back to the original size. Super big and thick.I'm not disappointed with the purchase, just disappointed that my old girl is can't enjoy this. I did know going into it this purchase it may not be the right choice for me but I was willing to take the chance. I knew the purchase would be used either way by one of our dogs in the family, so I felt no need to try to return it. I had full intentions of ordering Ruger one if my own dog could use it but I didn't want to buy 2 right from the start. I wanted to see how it worked out with her first before buying a 2nd one.I am now looking into buying one of their solid memory foam beds for my old girl. I was so impressed with this pillow and it's quality I'm looking to buy her solid memory foam bed. I have no doubt that one of their other full memory foam beds is what's needed for her hips, arthritis and mobility with balance issues now.

Don’t doubt, just buy!
This bed was such a life saver for me. I have two very big senior labs - both around 115lbs and it’s always impossible to find a dog bed that allows them to sprawl out completely and not slide off onto the floor. The jumbo size was perfect for one to spread out or for two to snuggle. The cover is durable yet soft and you cannot beat the price. Stop contemplating and stop searching and buy this bed if you have larger dogs.

Exactly what I was looking for!
Just opened the box and fluffed it up and my two 50lb basset hounds love it. We ordered the XXL (55x37) so there would be enough room for them to get comfortable. It's the perfect size for our girls. I'll give another review after we've had it for several months but as of right now we are very happy.

Sizing isn't accurate, but the price (compared to other oversized dog beds) makes you feel a little more lenient
I am giving 4 stars because the advertised size was not accurate to what I received. When first assembled, it was 48 inches long. After use, it is still only 51 inches long. (51" x 36" x ~5"-8") It may not seem like a big deal, but the dog I bought this for is quite long once he fully stretches out and the advertised 55 inches is literally the exact size I needed, as he is 50 inches long not including his tail.Direct copy from the item description: "To select the correct bed size, please measure the body length from base of tail to tip of nose and then add 3" to 5"."It has been almost a year since I ordered this bed for our family's German Shepherd (About 100-110 pounds). Initially he didn't take well to it because at the time it was in a part of the house he didn't like to visit, but his little sister (German Shepherd about 85 pounds) took to it quickly and monopolizes it every time she comes over. After several months of being encouraged to use his giant bed, he finally began to warm up to it. He still loves to lay on hard and cold floors, and uses his old 42" round bed because it's conveniently where people gather, but he will happily seek out this bed. He has natural untrimmed claws and will scratch the bed none-too-gently before laying down and the canvas has still held up to all that. I did choose the canvas over denim and suede options because I wanted the most durable. I haven't washed it yet, but it hasn't gotten all that dirty or started stinking thus far. Both the shepherds tend to curl up on dog beds. They have not used it together, but the both of them should be able to squeeze on without too much complaint. They will occasionally stretch out on it, which is very fun to see. By the way, they're about 6-7 years of age if I recall correctly, and are not chewers.First out of the package, once it fluffed up, it was about 11 inches high in the middle, 4 inches at the corners. It was 48 inches long, and 33 inches wide. Time and use settled it to a more normal size, but it is still quite plush. I just measured and the middle, which gets the majority of the weight, is still 5" thick (no dog sleeping on it for a full day), while the edges are up to 8". I have moved the bed around several times, but never done any real fluffing of it, and it has stayed plush and I do not believe the dogs have sunk to the ground while on this.Overall, it is a good price for such an oversized dog bed. I believe it did arrive on time. I ordered it a little too close to Christmas last year so it got delayed until the first week of January, and the delivery truck couldn't make it down to us in the January slush and mud but nobody has control over the weather. The packaging for the bed was impressive. There is plenty of tape wrapped around the vacuum sealed insert, I assume as a safety measure in case a hole punctures the plastic. It all fit literally perfectly inside the box, and the cover was nicely folded alongside with a paper giving directions on setting the bed up. When you first take out the bed you might be a little shocked at how very large it is.If you have the money, and the space, I would definitely recommend buying one of these. Even if you don't have a dog, your spouse or teenager might need a place to sleep when they get in trouble. Honestly, I tried it out at first and when it looked like our dog wouldn't use it, I considered just making it a lounge chair. No joke.
