I am getting excellent range even when I am using the laptop in downstairs Also if any one of you is experiencing issue with loading certain sites like yahoo mail link , hotmail, or certain links from w3schools etc first try following things 1.First go to your router page 192.168.1.1 give to username password 2.In the basic settings page make the MTU dropdown list to manual and change the value from 1492 to 1440. 3.Click save settings and 4.Click reboot(save and reboot options are down below basic settings page) 5.Wait for some time, so that the connection is established(Check the Linksys Connect application from your desktop to see whether connection is established) (These steps fixed the problem for me. If it doesn't you can try changing the MTU size from 1440 to 1492.) The set up was not much complicated *by A***R on 6 November 2015* I have just bought it. The delivery was very late ( more than 1 week late than the expected date displayed on webpage ). That may be due to a huge orders on Diwali offered items. It is working good. The set up was not much complicated. Though, there are a lot of things to set up and I have done only the basic settings for wireless and local internet provider's connection ( no DHCP, with private static IP ). I wish the power cord is a bit longer. I access the internet through wireless and sometimes sit beyond couple of cement walls. Still, it provides satisfactory speed.
