Lenox 883319 Butterfly Meadow Flutter 12Pc Dinnerware Set,Multicolor

I love my Butterfly Meadow Flutter dishes. I think they are just beautiful. I feel happy just looking at them, especially during the dreary winter months.

These are SO cute and I love them. They are the perfect lightness as well, not quite as thin as Correll but not thick and clunky either. I reviewed mostly to add photos because I couldn’t see them all and was nervous I wouldn’t like them. I knew there was a hummingbird but didn’t know what was on the other pieces, with the other birds. Also, when I first wrote this review and did the photos, I wasn’t sure how to make sure I was matching up each set (two plates and a bowl), but since discovered that on the bottom of the dishes, they say what bird they are so you can match them up that way. The birds are hummingbird, eastern bluebird, red poll finch, and goldfinch.

I bought this Flutter set to add to my regular Butterfly Meadow set. I absolutely love them, and wish there were more Flutter series items available. I love the birds, but wish they were present on all of the dishes, not just the dinner plates and one accent plate. The weight and feel of the Butterfly Meadow series of dishes is simply perfect. They make me so happy. My only complaint is the bowls they include in these sets are the small rice bowls; they should come with standard-size, more useful cereal bowls (Lenox sells them as ice-cream bowls. They're just right). Nevertheless, these are wonderful dishes.

This was for a friend who is moving into a new home. She's going with a nature scheme in her kitchen, and she choose this design. She's very happy with the set. Lenox has a great reputation. The design and colors are beautiful, and the pieces feel durable with a nice heft to them. She expects to enjoy them for many years to come.

Well my sister had this setBut she's far away. I love the fact that there not all the same! I didn't want china with gold or silver because you can't microwave it!Because I will use them for every day. I think they are beautiful!

Just eating from these dishes makes me happy. They are so beautiful.

I already have an extensive collection of the original butterfly patterns and was mostly only interested in the 5 plates that now have birds (4 dinner, 1 accent). Individual plates run around $20 a piece, so it just made more sense to buy the full set. I would have preferred if they all incorporated birds, but all the plates are very nice regardless. I think the stenciling on these is a little softer, with fuzzier edge lines, then on my original series plates. But they still all fit in nicely with the existing set. The only ones I might have excluded are the Humminbird accent and bowl, as the black butterfly doesnt fit with all the other pastels.
