I am planning to use these as my lunch box, will it leak ?

I have been using these for a few weeks now. Packing my food & my children's food (mostly lunches) I haven't had any leaks yet. When I first bought them I did fill one section with water & it did transfer to the other compartments but did not leak out of the box. Something thicker like pasta sauce wouldn't transfer but a thin soup would for sure. Hope this helps!

Question 2

How well do these meal prep containers do in regards to freezer burn? Do I need to wrap everything up before putting it in the freezer?

I usually put all the food in my containers and let them cool down. Then I put plastic wrap on top of the food and press down so that there is contact with the food and much less air exposure. Then  I put the lid on top. I haven't had any issues with freezer burn and it is much nicer to reheat in the microwave as it will already be covered to protect your microwave from splatters. I also found erasable stickers helpful because I like to meal prep a lot of food and just choose what I want from the freezer. It gives me a lot more variety.

Are they made of heavy duty plastic or the thin plastic as that of restaurants?

The plastic is definitely heavy duty. Won't break easily and can easily get tossed around around in a bag all day and stay sealed okay.

Any ideas on how to mark the meals?

I use painters tape from Home Depot which is blue, or get Frog Tape which is green.  These are both forms of Masking tape but leave no residue. You can also use Masking tape for a more permanent label.  Cut strips of these tapes, stick them on wax paper.  Use a Marker or Sharpie to write your label, then peel and stick on container.  If you need to change label, peel off the old label, and stick it on inside of kitchen cabinet for reuse later.  Mine don't come off when I hand wash container either.  Do not use transparent tape, invisible tape or such, as it is impossible to get off.  You can use a hair dryer to get sticky tape off, and mineral spirits to remove gummy residue.  Do not use Goo Gone as it will damage the finish.  Just Paint Thinner or Mineral spirits for any gummy label.
