Works well, much better than the remote for charging. For one, the cable is much better quality. it's a thicker gauge wire and the connector just seems to work better.The charge lights on the charger actually make sense when compared to the stock charger. This uses a red LED to indicate charging, and a green LED to indicate charged. Makes much more sense.On a full charge, the transmitter does charge a bit faster, however after around 10 charges, the batteries lost their charge. I've already gone through 8 batteries on the remote (holds 4). It's better to charge slower anyway to increase the internal. LiPo's lifespan.Onto the only problem I've had: the connector is a little thicker than stock, so you can't really avoid taking off the body to charge if you have the short course variant. I know every other variant is already like this, so it doesn't bug me much. However, I feel the connector would be better suited as a right angle plug.

This charging cord works very well for charging team associated 28-scale RTR trucks without using the batteries in the controller.The charging on these trucks is pretty slow - this USB unit isn’t faster than using the controller ... I just saves batteries.

Well made cable but only outputs a 100ma max. For comparison the controller outputs 240ma when used to charge the car. I have no idea why they decided to do that.

Does the job and so much easier than the stock method!!!A must have for these style RC cars

Necessary for sc28 racing

Works great, little slower than transmitter thought. Also body of truck hits the plug on both cord and transmitter. I used a metal file and carved out a small notch in body to accommodate the plug.
