Our aging lab was having trouble settling at night. Like clockwork, once the sun goes down, the pacing and panting starts. After trying every drug prescribed by our vet, we ordered K9 Select Melatonin. What a game changer! Within 30 minutes she is able to relax and stays comfortable most of the night. It comes in tablet form, has a beef flavor that she likes, and she takes it like a treat. She is 80+ lbs and one 6 mg tablet works for her.

This stuff seems to work well! Although I am doing a few different things, my pups fur is so soft and thicker. He's a silver lab and was having some skin issues and a thin coat. I removed chicken from his diet, added salmon oil and 2 of these per night and his fur is sooooo much better. I can't say this alone is amazing, but the whole regimen I've been giving him, which includes this, is helping so much. Highly recommend

I purchased these melatonin tablets on the advice of my vet. My dog has black skin alopecia. The vet had recommended a 1-2 month trial on 6 mg melatonin, some studies say it may help with hair growth.. Today is only Clyde's 3rd day taking melatonin. I hope to add an update after 2 months or so -- 4 stars today only because I don't yet know if this will do what I hope. But so far, Clyde is taking his 2 daily pills happily as they have a strong beef aroma, so they must taste good (5 stars for taste). The vet did advise me to give them at night, as they will make him sleepy. And they do. After dinner he jumps up onto the couch and snoozes peacefully all evening.

My senior dog has been having issues with anxiety and panting. It was weeks out before I could get to the vet but all signs were pointing to either anxiety or Cushing's disease. I did a bunch of research to see what could help with her signs and symptoms until I could get to the vet. Melatonin was the top recommendation. I found this product and it had great reviews. I was also able to get it Prime same day delivery so we could try it immediately. Thank goodness! Noticed a difference right away. The pills are tiny so easy to drop in food or give with a bit of peanut butter. Been using it as directed for a little over a week and it is definately working. She's calm and rested. And just last night I noticed she's not scratching as much. Must be helping with her skin health. We don't know yet what had been causing her excessive panting yet and we are still going to the Vet to get checked out but so far, this has been helping.

The items are the best, no complains, however the package that they came in wasn't the best, it had been ripped open and even the contents of the poop bag inside the outer package was opened, don't know if all the bags were there but I shall be careful in the future and will not accept any items that have been destroyed or opened from amazon, like I mentioned 5 stars for the contents I ordered. the packaging looked like it had gone through a cyclone.

My veterinarian suggested that I give my miniature poodle a small dose of Melatonin for a sleep disturbance. I was pleased that my dog seemed to like the beef flavor. She now chews one pill immediately along with her nightly cookie treats. She slept soundly the first night and every subsequent night this week. She seems also more energetic in the morning. This was accomplished at only half the dose recommended by my vet. I am glad that I chose a product with the 1 mg tablets which allows for flexibility.Of course, please do check with your veterinarian before choosing to use this— or any other new medication.

Worked super well for our 11 month old puppy, 60lbs. She has been having trouble sleeping through the night and one pill had her very drowsy for over 24 hours. Did experience drooling, which isn’t normal for her, but nothing too concerning.
