Bandai Hobby - Char's Counterattack - #01 MSN-04II Nightingale Re-100 Model Kit

As a gunpla builder for the past 10 years, I've built my fair share of hg 1/100 scale kits and master grade 1/100 too. When Bandai announced the RE / 100 ( reborn 100 scale) I was a bit skeptical as hg 1/100 00 gunpla kits started to flash in my mind as they were known for their terrible articulation and details.This however, is by far the best hg 1/100 I've ever built! Since this kit was the 1st of its kind in years, I was expecting to do a TON of painting and custom panal lining. BOY WAS I WRONG!This kit definitely has some master grade details to it from 3+ parts to create several tri-color Verners to the semi inner frame details. This kit took about 3 hours for me to snap fit and even then it's a pretty intimidating display piece!My only issue with the kit is its weight. Due to the lack of a full inner frame, the arms will tend to lean while posed. There's also the fact that this is purely for display! This kit is almost like the mg Exs Sentinel ,you can only pose it's arms and head so don't think that you'll be popping him on an action base to battle the HI-NU ver.KA anytime soon.All and all , it's an incredible kit I'd recommend to an intermediate builder as it's still a bit too complex for beginners.P.s. As I'm typing this I'm waiting for the metal Verners and custom Waterslides to arrive!

So much fun putting together. Joints are kinda wobbly but nothing some super glue won't fix.

This kit lacks fine details obviously, however the overall kit is great just dont expect a poser...this is a brick through and through.It's also a very fun build, if you like the nightingale and have the extra funds I'd go for it.I cant give it 5 stars but only because 5 stars means its perfect.

This kit is much larger than I expected. The main parts are sturdy, and thicker than the plastic you get with the typical master grade, however this is at the cost of articulation and a lower number of gimmicks. The sub-arms under the forward skirt armor are not articulated, and furthermore the the shoulders and rear funnel binders do not articulate. Of course a little scratch-building could fix that. Overall I expected this kit to be a faithful rendition of the Nightingale, with the exception that as a RE/100 kit some articulation would be lost, and this kit is exactly that.

Massive kit compared to my other 1/100 builds. The kit is rather simple to build but well detailed. My one issue is with the hands. While I love 3.0 hands, on some kits they tend to be the weakest link and this one is no exception. The wrist and index finger on the right hand will pop out of socket when trying to place the rifle in the hand.

The model Is great as a stand alone piece however the joints at the shoulder and hip are rather loose which can be a nuiscance depending on how often it is handled. Great for being a monument to the Zeons power house and is decent for its size. The fingers can become useless if you do not take care when assembling.

this is a huge kit and it'll take a lot of space on your shelves, even though i like this kit i found myself keeping it in its box because i have no where to put it

All around good kit but the box was missing the sticker sheet.

This is by far the worst of the Gundam models I've built. It only take me a couple hours to knock off this thing, as it's made of fewer parts than the leg on the Sazabi kit. It's incredibly hard to pose without parts falling off, it's hollow, the plastic is inferior to any other Gundam kit I've assembled, the detail is sub-par, about equal to some older HG kits. I wasn't expecting a lot, based on the last two RE/100 kits I built, but this this is just a bad model through and through. Case in point, he can barely even hold his massive weapon without his hand popping out. I am not even sure I'll bother lining and detailing this thing, it's just so cheap (yet it was not an inexpensive model) The rippled material looking stuff making his arms looks completely out of place, as if the thing is just a cosplayer wearing a sweater under his Gundam costume. I say skip this one folks.On the bright side, he came with a set of the good, highly articulated hands. My Sinanju Ver.Ka did not, so I gave this piece of crap's hands to the Sinanju which made that already amazing model even more impressive. Because of that fact I will be generous and give this a second star.

楽しみに購入して到着するなり組立、塗装を始めましたが途中で違和感に気づきました。パーツが何か足りないな。無くしたかなと思い探しました。一部当たり前にあるべきパーツもないので調べてみると、、画像を見ていただくとわかると思いますが製作する時にこんなカットの仕方はまずしないので驚きました。よく調べるとご丁寧にハンドパーツそのものもない、、販売店なのか、バンダイさんなのかわかりませんけどこの状態で売るのも、出荷するのも本来ありえませんよね。。よくある事とは言えないので、、一応ここに残します。欠品内容Hパーツ二点MPパーツ二点合わせて手のパーツでした。たまたまこんな事はないですよね。

Paquete enorme. Gunpla gigantesco , quizá menos articulado que un gunpla MG pero vale la pena. Prepara vitrina especial para ello.

皆様よくご存知の大味、ディティール無し、可動ポイントほぼ無し。そして全てを補ってあまり有る存在感と満足感(笑)MG等の精密、フル可動などのセールスポイントを駆逐せしめる楽しさなのです。こういうガンプラもっと増えてもいいと思う。MGと棲み分けすればいい話なのでどんどん出してほしい。ペーネロペーのMG化が難しいなら是非REで！
