JIM DUNLOP Dunlop 222 Brass Slide, Medium Wall Thickness, Medium

One of the best recommended slides. Purchased this as a gift for my music-loving dad and he's been having lots of fun with this! Keep sizing in mind, my dad's hands are little bit thicker and just barely fit the medium. Were I to go back, I may have done a size up. Otherwise, great quality!

Purchased as a gift. Have used Dunlop slides for many years - can always count on their quality, consistency, value, proper fit, comfort, and tone! Great selection and a wide variety of materials, lengths, thicknesses, and diameters from which to choose. A slide for every type of player and musical style!!

This cool brass slips over your finger like a wedding ring to your guitar. The brass gliding across the steel strings of my guitar like butter. Butter that doesn't suffocate the sound but pulls it out with veracity, sending waves of twang at any piece of air standing in its path. It's a rough and rugged little guy that shows no wear and tare after hours of use.

There is nothing really wrong with it except that I am an average sized male and it is tight on my pinky finger. I was looking for either Index or ring finger size. I missed understood with the word medium all around. I am not sending it back, it is very nice. I am not sure he how you dampen with the pinky finger, but other people do it. Read carefully.

My favorite metal slide. I love that Dunlop provides the measurements right on the package. Makes it a lot easier to shop for their slides. It's amazing how many "custom" slide makers don't provide the length, inside and outside diameter. Thanks Dunlop. This 222 has a thinner wall than some of the brass slides I've had. It's also a bit longer which is good if you want to reach across all the strings. I buy their 202 glass slides as well, which are about the same size but glass and with a slightly thinner wall. PROS cost effective clear and accurate measurements/specs the perfect size for me good weight - not too light, not too heavy thinner wall thicknes CONS Finish gets dulled/marked up with use, unlike a glass, ceramic, or chrome slide

3rd slide I’ve got in a week and small is to small medium is too small and large is too large. It’s almost impossible to find a slide that’s a decent size. Nice slide though.

My biggest issue with buying this online was not knowing if this slide will fit me or not. Some say yes, some say no. I am a guy that has fairly average sized hands I would say, not too big, not too small. Some of the reviews on Amazon said it fit, but WHO did it fit?? I am a 31 year old male, that has played guitar for many years now so I know what I like to hear, and this slide helps deliver a great tone. As for the size of the diameter of the slide, it fit well up to the knuckle on my ring finger , which is where I like it to be, but if I wanted to play it on any other finger it just would not fit right. For the price I would give this slide a shot... Good value... If it fits!

It works for me. Fits all the way on the pinky and leaves 1 knuckle on the ring. I'm teaching myself to play both fingers. I have skinny fingers though. If you have those workin' man sausage fingers you may want to size up, and remember that if your knuckle is wider than your finger then don't use your actual ring size. That's the only consideration. It's well made out of brass and the price is right. I was worried about whether to get glass or brass or whatever else but eventually I will get the rest so this was a good start for me and I am satisfied.

Délai de livraison parfait, reçu des le lendemain de la commande. le bottleneck est très bien, assez lourd pour une bonne prise sur les cordes, je préfères au bottleneck en verre qui est beaucoup plus léger et donc plus à même d'être moins precis mais ce n'est que mon avis.

Great slide for a first timer like me. Fit my ring finger like a glove. Snug yet comfortable. The sound it produces is great and is what I am looking for. Quality build.

Le misure del prodotto qui sul sito rispecchiano al 100% quelle reali. Interno 19mm e sul dito medio ci può stare ma ho timore si incastri avendo stesso diametro. Perfetto per l'anulare, non tende a muoversi lateralmente rischiando di steccare anche l'abc dei fraseggi slide. Bene anche per il mignolo. Caratteristica fondamentale è l'ottima leggerezza. Dovrei mettermi lì a provare per confrontarlo con altri simili di diverso materiale per valutarne la sonorità generata; onestamente l'ho preso perché mi mancava quello in ottone e ne colleziono uno per ogni materiale utilizzato quando lo trovo.
