A little added something to our family guitar sing alongs!!
My son had one of these picks years ago and had given it to someone who saw him playing with it and had liked it. He thought that he would just go and pickup another but never got around to it. For Fathers Day this year I decided to try and find one at local music stores with no luck!! Found it on Amazon so ordered 2!!! Gave one to my son and one to my sister for her to give to her son too!! My son was so excited when I gave it to him!!! Great fast delivery and great great item. I will be ordering more just to have around for family guitar picking and sing alongs.

Great adaptive pick for guitar and autoharp
I am a music therapist and love this rhythm pick. I use it with my clients who are not able to grasp a small guitar pick. The round grasp of the "egg shape" allows clients with challenged fine motor skills to be able to grab on and strum away on the guitar and autoharp. What a great product. Thank you!

The pick is really pretty neat, however
The pick is really pretty neat, however, my only complaint is the sound of the beads inside it. They are on the dull side, and take quite a wrist swing to get them to sound. The pick is just a little too muted in the sound. It sounds as if the beads are of a large size and made of lead. I also own a Rhythm Egg by Nuggets. It is about the same size as the Rhythm Pick, but it does not have the pick attached. You have to hold your own pick if you use it, so there is a little more of a "juggling" act holding the egg and your pick at the same time. The Nuggets Egg has a much sharper and distinctive rattle to the sound. I believe it is using much smaller beads and fewer of them. Sounds the the beads are made of glass or stainless steel. It is much easier with the Nuggets to get a sound without a whole lot of wrist swing, but again, it does not have the pick attached. Interestingly, I have found holding both the Nuggets Egg, and the Rhythm Pick at the same time works the best. It took a little figuring out how to hold both eggs at the same time, but once I figure out the geometry it works really good. I have two sounds happening at the same time: the duller sound of the Rhythm Pick, and the brighter, crisper sound of the Nuggets Egg. I have thought about drilling a hole in the Rhythm Pick and emptying the beads, and experimenting with using other beads, to see if I can get a better sound, but for now, just holding the two eggs together is working pretty well.

Rhythm Pick
I am not crazy about this item. Great concept, but it doesn't sound that great to me and the pick itself is very soft. The shaker stays in your hand of course, which mutes the sound quite a bit as you strum. Clever idea, butdoesn't do the trick. Sorry to have to say so.

Cool accessory
I asked about one of these at Guitar Center, and the Accessories guy looked at my like I was from another planet, so I was really excited to find this one! It's not perfect, but seeing as how this is the only one in existence, it'll have to do. I'm doing an acoustic duo with a singer, and this really adds an extra dimension to the sound when it's just the two of us. You do have to adjust your strumming technique, but after a few minutes I got used to it and really dug how it helps things groove. I'll probably order another one, because like all picks, I'm sure it's going to break sooner or later. Comes with the territory. I just wish shipping wasn't more than the stupid pick itself!

Nothing insightful nor spectacular.
I could simply get a Jim Dunlop egg shaker while holding a pick. As I said, nothing insightful nor spectacular.
