A GOOD BANG FOR YOUR NYLON BUCK
These inexpensive de Dario classical strings are well-made and consistent. They have excellent tone and longevity. Probably best used for folk music as they don’t possess the tonality of expensive handmade classical strings, but they would work in a pinch. Tie-end or ball-end, they’re a good value

Used these to fix a friends Yamaha CG102, perfect!
The friend doesn't play religiously and she's only just getting back to trying to learn to play guitar so I couldn't justify over spending for strings. These "student" strings clearly and amply filled the bill. They sound much better than the price would suggest too. Once I got them stretched out to be more stable they held tune very well and the resonance from the guitar was incredible. While you do have to deal with the variability of changes in a wooden neck for your tuning, having classical strings is much easier to deal with than electric guitars strings AND they're much easier to maintain as well. A simple wipe and your done. No need to use Fast Fret, Fret Ease or any type of string polish. The 3 bass strings are silver wrapped so they never corrode and the 3 treble strings are plastic so no corrosion there either. Stringing them up compared to a steel string fixed bridge is a little more involved but not something anyone can't learn to do either. You'll also really like the feel of these strings too. Easier to play, very smooth transitioning, sound excellent and quite honestly D'Addario has been making strings before I was even born and it shows in the consistent quality of their product repeatedly.

These are my go-to strings for my 1972 Yamaha Classical Guitar
I've used these strings for years and have no intention of switching. I found an old Yamaha Classical guitar for $81 years ago and chose these strings after some research. They stay in tune, and have a mellow tone to them. I find them easy to play on for hours. I specifically like to play melodies, medieval style tunes (such as The Bannered Mare from Skyrim), and old american jazz standards. I mention this just so you know these strings can work well for them.

Great sounding budget strings
These are a great value for general strings, and I use them as my "maintenance" string. Occasionally I like to install either D'addario Pro Arte NT (better) or Savarez Corum with Cantiga basses (best) for when I need the best sound for my guitar. The trebles on this set are particularly good and are barely different from the Pro Artes. I do think the diameter is a bit bigger on these, so the G string is a little bit plunkier, but it's a very minor difference. The basses feel like a slightly larger diameter as well, but that doesn't really cause any problems for me. The one negative I'd include on these is that the basses seem to tarnish a bit more quickly than Pro Artes, and the sound of them begins to degrade from there. Overall a great string for the price!

Great set of strings!
These strings work really well on my Godin acs Multiac. They are vibrant, it has good sound quality and they feel good on the fingers. They stay in tune pretty well too. The only negative thing is that they don’t last as much as I would like but that’s ok. Their lifetime for me, playing about 9 gigs a week, is about 1 month. It’s pretty fair I think. Overall great product!

Colors hard to see - installation thus more longwinded than should be.
So no ball end - no problem as I just make some knots in the end to fit into the slits on my particular guitar that has slits and a wooden peg - its a matter of how to attach it to your guitar. My issue is the time it took to install, because its (on the set I got) very hard to know which string is which if you don't regularly change guitar strings (last set I did was 8 years ago and was a different brand). So when you get the strings, they are coiled into 3 sets of 2 strings in each coil. Each set of coils has one metal wound bass string and a pure nylon treble string. Great, but where do they go? The packaging indicates there are colors that define them.. and looking at the sizing, its clear they 2 strings in a coiled set are the ones of similar size... but still which is which. I'm not getting out micrometers to measure them. The one string with red on the end was clearly visible. Beyond that it took a lot of bright light and very careful examination to see a very faint yellow patch on one string, a purple tint on another, and a black mark barely visible on another. In the end it was a bit of "process of elimination" to get them all sorted out. They sound fine, but for ease of installation I'd call the set a fail. They would be better off to use a proper paint, or invest in some simple paper tags that get attached to the strings that can be removed.

Good quality and affordable strings for my acoustic guitar
Been putting off getting guitar strings for a while. Was glad to find these on Amazon as I’m fairly sure it’s what I have used in the past. Nice to be able to have a guitar to play again.
