Way better than I was anticipating....but not quite perfect
I bought these to replace my wired Skullcandy headphones. After having to replace them every 3 months, I decided I'd jump the wireless earbud wagon that I'd been avoiding for awhile now in order to avoid shorts in the cable and to get rid of the cables themselves. And I was actually pleasantly surprised. Upon buying them, I figured that I'd try them out for a day and send them back, but these actually surprised me a lot. That being said, there are some things that prevent me from giving them a perfect score.Pros:- Good Bass: You're not going to have damaged eardrums, but they matched the bass of my Skullcandy headphones and is good enough where I didn't have to turn on the bass booster app I had to use for the wired headphones. I ran these through the paces with all types of songs and video. Movie trailers, movies/TV shows, metal, alt rock, motown, rap...the bass is full and rich no matter what you're watching.- Snug fit: Opinion of this is going to differ. I find it a little difficult to make the small hooks at the top fit comfortably in my ear sometimes, but once they're in the right spot, I honestly forget that they're in sometimes despite the fact that there's music playing. They're very comfortable, and I've left them in for hours at a time with no discomfort. In my few days with them, I've never felt worried or concerned that these were going to fall out, which is great, considering that if I moved incorrectly while my wired headphones were in, they were almost always going to pop out of my ears.Good battery life: I believe the Amazon page for these promised a three hour lifespan, but for the most part I've comfortably surpassed that many times over the last couple of day. When fully charged, they can about twice that, and as long as you place them in the case when they're not being used you should have no problems with low batteries throughout the day.Speedy charging: The small case that comes with the headphones does need to be charged, but after that they do a great job of charging the headphones quickly. I'm not sure how long they take to recharge from completely dead batteries, but a 20 minute charge gave me about a couple of hours worth of use.No more wires: No more headphone cords!! No more getting the individual cords for each bud getting tangled, no more having to worry about the cable being too short for certain activities, or getting in the way. These are fully wireless, and I've done a lot of laughing at myself the last couple of days when I try to pull these out by the cords and realize that there isn't one.Good noise cancellation: When I have these puppy in at full volume, it's impossible to hear anything that's going on in the background. This holds up for phone calls as well, which is a definite plus.Good range: The 30 foot range seems to hold up pretty well. I'm able to leave my phone into the room and take my garbage out with minimal interruption. The fact that you can answer the call by pressing one of the buttons on the earbuds (or with a smartwatch, should you have it paired with your phone) means that I don't have to keep my phone on me in instances such as cooking or cleaning. It can stay in another room, or on the counter somewhere and you'll still have good sound quality.Cons:- Iffy Sound Quality: Depending on a number of circumstances, such as interference and whatnot, this is both a positive and negative trait. When you're in a controlled environment (I.e. at home, walking around the neighborhood), the sound quality is excellent. I can make out every vocal, every instrument in each song I listen to. However, if you're downtown or have the microwave or another Bluetooth device nearby, it can cause a hissing sound in the background of everything you listen to. For most songs, it's not really noticeable unless you catch it and you're listening to it, but if you're someone who likes listening to film scores or orchestral music, this could be a deal breaker for you, because you'll hear that hiss in the silences and in the background, especially for soft pieces. A play-through of Clint Mansell's "The Last Man" from The Fountain score was riddled with hissing and popping in the background, making a quiet, melancholy piece nearly impossible to listen to.Connectivity issues: I have a lot more difficulty pairing these with devices than I'd like. They connect pretty easily to my phone, but if you're using one earbud and decide to pop in the other, the first is going to become disconnected as the second connects. You THEN have to go into the Bluetooth menu on your device, disconnect the connected earbud, THEN connect to the Geekee (not the Geekee L) signal to reconnect both earbuds. It's a pain, and it takes something that's supposed to be and is advertised as very easy and makes it something that can take minutes to fix. They also seem to have a hard time staying paired to certain devices. They mostly work well with my phone, but I regularly get kicked off of my computer when they're paired and take awhile to reconnect.Power Issues?: From time to time, the earbuds will suddenly turn off for no reason. Turning them back on is no problem, but it's likely going to once again have pairing issues which can seriously interrupt your listening experience and leave you frustrated, especially if it's on a favorite song or a phone call. I'm not sure if this a power issue, or if it's specific to my pair, but it does get to be irritating.Iffy microphone: For taking phone calls, only the RIGHT earbud has a microphone, and for the most part it's pretty strong. That being said, if you have a soft voice, it's possible for it to not be picked up, so you'll have to talk a bit louder to be sure that you're heard. I haven't taken a call in public yet, so I can't speak for if background noise can affect being heard. But while talking to a friend, he's told me from time to time that I'm very faint if I drop the volume of my voice to inside voice levels. These are the things that I've noticed over the last two days that I've had them, and despite the issues I'm very happy with them for the price. There are some things that I need to test out - taking phone calls in public/noisy environments, comfort during exercise, whether the moisture wicking actually works, how they hold up during flights, and overall longevity - and as I test these out I'll be updating this review. But if you're looking for a pair of mid-priced wireless earbuds, either to try out or to save money, I'd say that these are a good pair for the money.

Amazing Value, Excellent Fitment, and Good Sound (for the price / category)!
IntroI must preface my review by stating that I would easily be classified as an “audiophile” by most. The headphones that I normally wear (which include the venerable Sennheiser HD650, Etymotic Research ER-4S, and Etymotic Research HF2 in my pictures) retail for many times the going price on these earbuds, and I have these cans paired with similarly good electronics. However, I will try to talk about these in isolation as much as possible, as these earbuds are in no way intended to compete with the other cans I use on a routine basis. That said, despite the very affordable price, these earbuds are excellent for listening to music on the go (particularly at the gym or when doing athletic activities), and I have no qualms adding these to my audio arsenal.Build QualityImmediately upon opening the box, the first thing I noticed was the high level of build quality on these earbuds—especially for the price. Not only was the included charging case aesthetically appealing, but it had just the right amount of weight to it and a magnetic snap to pull in and secure the headphones when stowed away. Similarly, the weight of the earbuds themselves were “just right,” as they didn’t feel flimsy, nor did they feel too heavy.Comfort and FitmentHaving never used wireless earbuds in the past, I was somewhat concerned about how these earbuds would stay in my ears. These headphones were intended to replace my current gym headphones (Etymotic HF2) since the wire on those is simply too restricting while working out. Thankfully, the snug fit of the included rubber tips made sure that the earbuds were both comfortable and secure. Moreover, there are many included tips in the box, so you will be sure to find a size that fits you.Pairing and SetupPairing these earbuds to my Android-powered smartphone was seamless. Once removed from the charging case, the two earbuds automatically paired to each other and become visible to my smartphone as a single device. For those who would rather use a single earbud for any given reason, you are able to do that as well by putting the earphones into single-channel mode. All-in-all, I would consider the setup/pairing process as easy as it could possibly get on a Bluetooth device.Wireless Reception and Battery LifeSignal quality was excellent for me. The product manual claims that these earbuds can operate within a 33-foot range when unobstructed. I have no reason to doubt this claim, as in my heavily obstructed apartment, the reception is great when I am a room-and-a-half away. Battery life was more than adequate for my needs as well. The earbuds routinely lasted upwards of three or more hours of continual music listening for me, which is inline with what the specifications state.Sound QualityAnd finally, we get to the most important part in the review for an audio product. The sound quality of these headphones was one area I feared these inexpensive earbuds would falter. Thankfully, I was positively surprised to find that they did admirably, provided that your expectations are within reason. Naturally, they did not offer the same level of detail, transient response, and transparency as my reference cans which are many times more expensive. However, when compared to headphones within this price segment, they performed admirably. Treble and midrange detail was adequate for music enjoyment while working out and being active. My only real “complaint” was that these earbuds had a bit too much bass for my tastes. This was easily remedied with a bit of equalizer work to tone down the bass frequencies, however I can imagine that many would appreciate the high bass output on these earbuds in their natural state!ConclusionOverall, I think these are a fantastic set of wireless earbuds, especially given their asking price. They’re obviously not going to replace any of my Sennheiser HD650 cans or Etymotic Research ER-4S in-ear monitors for critical listening sessions, but they’re not intended to do so. Where these earbuds shine is in providing workable audio quality for those with an active lifestyle who want to cut the cords. With this in mind, these earbuds are top notch.
