Baden Nite Brite Glow-in-the-Dark Mini Ball and Hoop Set

Well, this is about the 3rd or 4th of these that I've owned. My son just loves it -- since the age of 7 years old (he's now 10), my son spends hours per week taking shots, playing mock games, and slam dunking. Commercial time -- he's there taking free throws, "go brush your teeth" -- not until a I do a slam dunk or two. Basically, every time he walks by the net he's got to pick up the ball and make a few plays.The product is good quality, but won't stand up to constant dunking, which is why we're on our 3rd or 4th -- eventually the rim will break.

My 8-year-old son played basketball on his Baden Nite Brite hoop set almost every day, so he was heartbroken when he broke the rim from his first set after dunking too hard. I quickly found this new one on Amazon and surprised him with it. He continues to play with it frequently but is a little more gentle! Although the picture of the hoops set is black on the web site, the one we received was white. Our previous one was white, so we're glad that it was the same color. I will likely consider this as a gift idea when my son gets invited to other kids' birthday parties. The quality is good, and the glow-in-the-dark feature is fun for the kids.

My son has been using this for only a day. But so far so good, and he's very rough. It's easy to set up and hangs on doors easily. It seems fairly sturdy. Much better than the cardboard NERF model. And the fact that it glows in the dark is an added bonus.Update: my son broke the hoop after one week. Too much dunking. I know it's really made to just shoot baskets and really for dunking.

Purchased this for my 8 year old son for Christmas. We have it over the guest room door, so it's facing our upstairs game room. It does not keep the door from opening or closing at all, so it is perfect to just stay there. A great indoor activity for my son and his friends when it's not nice enough to play outside!

I think I expected this to be a little bit bigger, but it gets the job done. I have it on the door in my counseling office so kids can just shoot away. The ball is soft too so I don't worry about it crashing down on my computer or being otherwise potentially destructive.

I ordered this hoop for my boss, who wanted a little basketball hoop in his office. It was easy to mount and the ball is just the right weight. Overall, it is a very good value. He often works late into the night, so we both thought it was amusing that it glows in the dark.

The rim doesn't glow in the dark as brightly as hoped and the net occasionally bunches to one side, but it was easy to put together, slides onto the top of standard-sized doors, and has provided hours of fun for the child it was purchased for.
