TAZOZen Green Tea, 20 Count (Pack of 2)

My family loves this tea. I put 7 tea bags in a 2 qt mason jar, set it in the sun all day (even in winter) and bring it in at dark. We measure it as 3/4 tea to 1/4 water or 2/3 tea to 1/3 water. This is the same tea Starbucks serves as Iced Green Tea. We make our own Green Tea Lattes by adding milk.This tea is also good hot, brewed in hot water for a bit.

The Zen Tazo tea is my favorite of their teas. I love the smell of lemongrass, spearmint and lemon verbena that has been added to the green tea. It has a very soothing smell to me and the taste is smooth and calming.The tea has a little of a sweet taste. Pure green tea has a touch of sweetness to it as well as the lemon verbena. The lemon grass and the lemon verbena lend the tea its citrusy taste and smell. The spearmint gives it that little zing.The Zen tea is Kosher but it is not caffeine free. Each tea bag is individually wrapped and each box contains 20 bags.The price here is compatible with the price in my grocery store. I don’t know it’s cheaper at one of the big shopping clubs.I find myself drinking this tea a lot of times after dinner or even later when I want something hot and soothing. It seems to hit the spot.

I love this tea and $6.5 for two packs is a great price for Tazo tea. However, i was disappointed to find that some of the bags were empty and missing the tea bags, and there was also some loose tea in the box. I guess something went wrong at the factory and no one caught it.

As a more expensive tea, one expects a bit more than what one gets here. The flavors are not "Zen" in the sense that the cup perks one up a bit much rather than really making one fell quiet and Zenlike! But it's a nice enough interpretation of green tea.

Black tea bothers my stomach so I was looking for something milder--but without sacrificing the kick. This tea came to my rescue. I enjoy both white and green teas and this blend tastes more like a white tea to me in that it has a gentle (but pleasant) flavor. It also doesn't take as much of a beating as other green teas if you oversteep it (meaning it won't taste like vegetables or grass) which is another plus as sometimes I start it, wander off, and forget to check it. Recommended.

I have loose green tea--various sorts, which I love. This is my handy dandy neutral, drop a bag in a water bottle head off into my day tea. The taste is delicate and pleasant, and neutral enough that I can add elements like sliced fresh ginger or even another tea to it without bad results. A very nice tea!

amazing tea! if you like green tea from starbucks, this is what they use. although this price for 2 was slightly higher than my super market price (found out the day after I ordered :/) it's still going to be less than $3.50 per drink like starbucks charges! it has such an amazing smell, my whole house smells lovely when i'm brewing it! i make a 2 quart batch at a time and use that all week.

This is very tasty green tea, but I dock it one point because it is rather weak, you need to use two bags. This is unusual for Tazo, as their other teas are not like this. Id does have a good flavor, it's just weak.
