This is a great comb I have two bernadoodle puppies and this is only the only thing that will get the knots out. I love that the handle is padded so when you have to hold it for a long time your hand does not hurt. It's also a great size and easy to use

I was very impressed that this works very well for removing knots from the fur of my 19-year-old cat. She had stopped grooming herself and the maths were just getting worse and worse. I thought this comb would at least let me safely isolate them so I could cut them with the scissors. But it turns out that it actually removes most of them. She doesn't love it, but she tolerates it for the most part. Her hips are sore so she does not tolerate it very long when I comb near her back legs. But overall, I am impressed with how well this worked.

I bought this comb primarily to comb out my dog's undercoat. This comb does a very nice job. It doesn't seem to scratch her like the other comb that I have. My dog Lily seems to enjoy the combing and she doesn't pull away from it. The handle is nice to hold and grip. It is well made and sturdy. I would recommend this comb for pulling out undercoat. Lily doesn't have fleas so I don't know how well it works to pull out fleas. It does pull out other bits of debris that have found their way into her coat.

So far I am pleased with the products, how they are made, and easy to hold & use.

This Hertzko Long and Short Teeth Comb works pretty well when I comb out my labradoodle in between grooming appointments. As my dog's hair grows, his curls are more likely to become matted. I have to comb him every several days. I have used the standard metal comb, and after 20 minutes my fingers hurt. There have been times it's taken me as much as an hour! After all these years, I decided to search for a better alternative with an easier grip. I like the rubberized handle, alternating teeth/pins that don't rotate, and it appears sturdy enough to do a good job for a while. This comb seemed to have a slightly wider handle when compared with product photos of other combs like this. I can gently comb out my doodle's mats and dead hair with less pain (for the both of us). My arthritic finger joints thank me, especially when I'm doing a long combing session!

I have never had a double coated dog until my Australian Shepherd. I learned a lot on how to brush him and that a comb works best. I bought this one to try as it seemed like a good deal and had a handle for me to grip. The first time I used it, it was able to get the clumps of fur off nicely. It cleans off easily. Worked like a charm.

Works great on my mini schnauzer.

Heavy Duty. This one will last a lifetime, plus. Great back scratcher, and no marks. Nicely rounded bristle tips that don't break or bend. recommended.

I recently purchased a persian kitten. I wanted a strong comb that was not flimsy and the handle would not break after a month. This was the best out there. You get what you pay for.

At first I thought this comb would not work . I have a long haired Maine coon cat . His fur can get knotted very easily . I usually brush him with a cat brush and thought i was getting through all his dense fur . I wasn’t getting through all his fur with a cat brush and this cat comb was able to get through it with no issues . It was so easy to break up and knots , slowly and gently I would break apart the knot and continue combing through it . Amazing comb and I should have purchased it long ago . If you have a long haired pet this is the holy grail . Haha .

My dog has a combination coat - partially wiry and partially soft fur. This comb addresses the loose hair and doesn't pull, so my dog doesn't mind being groomed as much as before.
