Son loves these books
My 8 yr old son loves any type of graphic book! He picked up this series at the school library and loved them so much that he used his amazon gift card from Christmas to buy 3 of these books! To me, that's a winning series! He actually got several of his friends at school hooked on this series as well. I have not read them myself, so I am hoping that the content if appropriate! I have looked at and read several pages and nothing popped out as inappropriate, but not making any guarantee. If your son likes comic book style reading and silly humor then these will do the trick. My son originally read all of the Captain Underpants series and this is along that same style-line of books. It keeps him engaged in reading and wanting more and that's half the battle!

Great Artwork
I love looking at cartoon artwork. That's why I bought this book. It's a cute story too. My kids enjoyed it as well.

Finally, a book that she wants to read!
I've never written a book review before, even though I'm an avid reader and have much to say about the amazing books I've read. It's ironic that my first review is about a book I didn't read, although the enthusiasm and pride that my daughter took in reading this book in one night was reason enough for me to post this review.Without too many details, my eight year old daughter has never liked reading. It has been a struggle for years to get her to read. I keep taking her to the library, buying books at the book fair and reading to her, hoping that something will click. We went to our library yesterday, and as usual, she headed for the graphic novel/comic section and loaded up on books. Usually she just looks at them for the pictures. Tonight, she actually read this book cover to cover in about 40 minutes, under the covers, with a flash light, begging me to let her stay up to finish it.Thank you, Erik Cradddock. You've hooked one little reader after her teachers and I have been trying to do it for years. We happened to pick up this one (#4) from the library, and I just ordered the first three.

Superheroes, Super Villains, and Cake
If the tag line of a book reads "Superheroes, Super Villains, and Cake," then I think you just have to read it. This graphic novel is great fun and takes the concept of superhero with a heavy dose of humor. This is the fourth book in a series. I think it would be perfect for ages 6 and up, although the publisher recommends 9-12. This book is prefect for enthusiastic and reluctant readers, and the antidote to a long car trip.
