No I don’t think so. Its to reduce acne by drawing moisture out from what i can work out.

Does this gel go on before or after moisturisers and serums?

The makers say you can use it under or over make up, so I think it preferable to use it on clean skin that has no other product ( including moidturisers) on it. So I use it direct onto clean, bare, skin as a general rule, but if the spot occurs after you have put on make up, you can use it then As well as under the make up. But you do have to use it regularly , and use it immediately you sense you have a problem spot. I keep it with me at all times, so I can use it when a spot appears. My experience is that it really does what it says, and I would never be without it now, and I highly recommend it. I suggest you keep a tube in your handbag and USE it every time you see or sense a spot I'd developing.

If you put this on before moisturizers, how do you stop it spreading to the rest of your face when you rub your cream on after?

Dont apply before moisturisering or makeup, wash face and apply on bare faced if you can.
