Great factual information
We used this book to introduce our unit on community helpers. Great pictures, lots of information, all wrapped up in a simple plot line about a girl meeting different types of police officers at Town Safety Day.

Good Book on Police Officers
Grandson loves stories and toys involving Police Officers. It is wonderful to read to him what they do, so he understands what Police Officers really do. The vocabulary is at his level and story held his interest.

Great purchase
My son likes it (5). Good with diversity and different kinds of law enforcement. Even includes k-9 unit, state trooper, comservation agent and detective in addition to your regular police officer. Portrays police as friendly and protective. Educational, easy for 1st grader to read and advanced kindergartener.

Great book
With all the negativity being directed at law enforcement these days, it’s nice to find a book that focuses on the positives. Different officers do different things: patrol, detective, traffic offenses, game warden, etc. The book shows male and female officers from diverse races/ethnicities.My 6yo and I both enjoyed this book.

My Grandson loves playing Police Officer. Being able to read about the many different roles an office fulfills has just opened his imagination to more possibilities.
