I have most of the books in this series, and almost all are worth the money. This one is not, it was clearly slapped together without a care for accuracy, the bow is WAY too blunt, the armor belt is missing The slide bars at the top of the armor belt for the ship's boats are the only hull detail, and are many many times too large! They look like kid's slides! They author didn't even come close on the shape of the rudder... This author is NOT up to the standards set in the rest of the series. Very Disappointed!

Kagero社Super Drawingsシリーズ新作はＣＶ-2レキシントン（1935年時）です。右左舷側面、飛行甲板平面を中心に煙突、各5in砲座、各短艇甲板のクローズアップ俯瞰図に、かなり詳細な艦橋とその装備品などを加えたビジュアル要素たっぷりの3Ｄ図集です。全94ページと今までの特集の中でもボリュームが大きい部類ながら、それでも格納庫などの内部までは掲載しきれなかったようで、基本的に外面の表現がほとんどとなっています。添付図面は右左舷側面、平面図（1/450）と8in連装砲、クレーンなどの一部装備品4面図（1/25～1/100）です。基本的にこのシリーズは3Ｄイメージとしてビジュアル表現することを目的としているので特集によっては多少疑問が残る部分もあり、この冊子もクローズアップした割には各部鋼板表現が簡略化されているなど残念なところも見受けられます。特にレキシントンは著名艦なので図面をはじめ写真も多く発表されており後発の資料としてはチョット物足らないように感じます。もちろん写真、図面からは得られないビジュアル要素は充分お勧めできるものなので、資料というよりも作品集として楽しむのが妥当ではないでしょうか。
