I work as a gardener so this radio is out in all weathers. I keep it in a waterproof roll top bag when raining but otherwise out in the elements. Very impressed with it. Sound quality is excellent. Solidly built. Easy to use. Takes 4 AA batteries so not reliant on in built rechargeable battery that could die. Wrist loop is good as can hang up. As they were nearly half the price of other budget digital radios I took a chance and bought two. They were a great price. I’m pleased to have a spare, I’m quite tough on my radios.Does not come with mains adapter but most people would have one suitable lying around from another product - just make sure correct voltage and polarity.

It's a good little radio but on DAB it's an absolute battery killeryou really do need to buy rechargeable or use a DCI bought the best Duracell batteries for this and used it 6 times for 40 minutes each listening to football and the batteries diedI do hope there wasn't a problem with my particular unitI never thought of thatIt is what it isa small portable radio butI really can't rate this with high starsIt is no longer portable because the battery keeps dying too soon how can it be portable when you can't listen to it lolrechargeable is your only option and even then they wouldn't last long I've tried them anyway maybe your radios last longer than mine it could just be an issue

Sound is better than expected for such a small portable radio, both DAB and FM. You do need to use decent rechargeable batteries (I use 2800mAh ones) as Alkaline batteries die after a couple of days use, in my case about 30 mins per day. Or you can use the optional mains power supply, which, disappointingly is not a USB (either Micro or USBC) otherwise it would have been 5 stars

For some years I've had a Pure Evoke 2 DAB radio in my kitchen. An expensive radio when new but, irritatingly, it is big and heavy and, worse, I had to run it off the mains. Originally it had a rechargeable battery pack but that soon died and to replace the battery pack from Amazon is over £50!!! I only really use it to listen to radio 4 or sometimes the footy and I got fed up of having to move it around with a big heavy charger attached. So I've just picked this little portable DAB radio up. Neat, very compact, instructions easy. Takes 4 x AA batteries (which I suspect will last for ages with the use I will give it). Sounds fine. Doesn't have to have the arial fully extended for the DAB, picks up FM as well. To be frank this is exactly what I needed.

Works perfectly well on mains but only lasts about 5 minutes on batteries even fully changed rechargeable batteries

I picked this up as a spare after reading the glowing reviews. It's great, great sound, great quality and a good weight. It's better than the Sony DAB I bought for my bedside table. I would highly recommend. Non sponsored review, I just thought I'd share my experience.ADDITION: It just went wrong, so disappointed. Used for about two weeks of and on and it worked in the morning and stopped in the afternoon. Returning.

I've marked them one simply because I HAVEN.T used it as it got stolen.but it did look great.

Worth every bit of the money

Acquistata da poco e subito messa in funzione, posso dire perfetta, mi ha stupito perché ricca di funzioni, iniziamo col dire che è una doppia radio, sia per i canali (dab) sia per il tradizionale FM , audio buono, schermo chiaro e ben luminoso, possibilità di programmazione per 20 canali preferiti, sul display si può scegliere di visualizzare la frequenza, oppure l'orario con la data, oppure il nome della stazione che stiamo ascoltando.rNella selezione FM è molto comoda poiché la scansione dei canali è precisa, e non come le classiche radio con la rotella, dove alcuni canali non li centri mai perfettamente.Alimentazione con 4 batterie stilo AA (NON comprese nella confezione )NON è provvista di alimentatore, ma lo si può comprare separatamente, settandolo sulla potenza di 5 w ( lo trovate anche in qualsiasi negozio di materiale elettrico od elettronica, attenzione che deve essere di quelli con più jack, così trovate il Vostro, ed attenzione ai simboli della polarità quando montate il jack sullo spinotto del filo ( ci sono dei simboli sia sul jack che sulla radio, devono essere identici )Per riassumere un acquisto ottimo, prodotto che sembra robusto, con ottima ricezione, lo consiglio vivamente, l'unico aspetto che può lasciare a desiderare è il design troppo squadrato e semplice, ma d'altronde per il prezzo che ho pagato di più non si poteva proprio pretendere !! Consiglio pertanto vivamente l'acquisto di questa radio digitale

The media could not be loaded.  He querido actualizar mi radio de diario y he visto esta que no solo es radio FM estándar, si no que tiene la función de radio digital DAB, así que me he tirado de cabeza a su compra para ver que tal funciona este sistema.Antes de nada os explico que el DAB en algunos países ha pasado a ser la única radio que hay y es digital al contrario que la radio de siempre FM o AM, digamos que es como el cambio de televisión terrestre a TDT, aunque ojo, las radio que pillamos por radio DAB no son las mismas que hay en el TDT y hay pocas de momento, quizá dependiendo de la zona donde estéis no hay ninguna, informaros antes.En cuanto a la radio en si funciona muy bien tanto en FM como en DAB y ofrece una buena memoria de presintonias, alarma, pantalla LCD muy clara con toda la info, salida para auriculares, posibilidad de ponerle un adaptador de corriente si no queremos usar pilas (no incluido), y mucho más, la verdad es que es completita y tiene una muy buena botonera.Quizá su punto flaco es la batería que con pilas no dura mucho, pero si la usamos en un sitio fija, siempre le podemos poner un adaptador de corriente de 5V, yo en mi caso uso pilas recargables y me van bien.La calidad del sonido es buena, se escucha muy alto y con auriculares el sonido es nítido, ademas la antena plegable tiene buena recepción, yo que tengo paredes de hormigón agradezco eso mucho.Recomendada!

Il maggior punto di forza è senza dubbio il prezzo. Una radio DAB+ a circa 20€ è sicuramente allettante. Esteticamente è carina, non troppo grande, dotata di "tappetino" in gomma antiscivolo che copre tutto il fondo, utile e pratico. La ricezione è buona sia in Dab che in Fm, ma questo lo sapevo già, sono fortunato e i segnali radio e tv li ho sempre avuti buoni senza troppe difficoltà. La qualità dell'ascolto con il suo altoparlante è discreta, nitida ma non troppo potente, per me comunque accettabile. In cuffia al contrario è decisamente scarsa di dinamica, il circuito di amplificazione è davvero "base". Può andare bene se si decide di connetterla ad un' amplificatore o casse amplificate, più "neutra" è, meglio è. I comandi sono semplici e anche in italiano. Buona la possibilità di utilizzarla come radio sveglia sia con bip che con la stazione radio preferita, consentendo di regolare oltre ovviamente all'orario, anche il volume della radio che vi sveglierà. Per quanto riguarda il consumo delle batterie (4 AA) non saprei ancora, nei pochi giorni che l'ho utilizzata (circa 3 ore in tutto) nessun segno di cedimento. Soddisfatto.

La radio es genial, tiene buena calidad y se ve buen producto, solo echo de menos el apagado automatico de la pantalla cuando esta en marcha la radio, con pilas el consumo es grande debido a este bug, el resto perfecto...buena radio
