The best carrier for my pup. Sturdy but comfortable

Best carrier for dachshund! He doesn’t like walking so this backpack is super convenient and comfortable for carrying him!

We have two for our dogs, this fits a standard Jack Russell.

Puppy loves it and it’s sturdy

I bought the large size for my 30 lb duck toller because she won’t stay in the bike trailer with our daughter. I was apprehensive about getting her into it and developing a negative association, but the design is really very nice. We gave her a ton of treats and she doesn’t seem to mind it at all. Once we are on the bike, she’s basically standing on my back and seems like she would be comfortable for some time. Standing straight up is a bit more of an awkward position for her. My only complaint is that the “backpack” seems to be designed for smaller people and the straps fit me awkwardly. Overall, it seems robust and well constructed. An added bonus is nearly everyone we ride by cracks up.

I have tried so many different carriers for my 22lb pug but this is definitely the best option! You'll need a size Large if you have a barrel chested pup like a pug or frenchie. As several other reviews have stated, I have to put a rolled up towel in the bottom for his butt to rest on because the Large is long, but the width is necessary for his little ham body. It's a bit awkward to get him in there- it goes on kind of like a harness with front legs out, but the back legs go in the bag, so he gets a little wiggly. It's much easier to put on if you have help! You also can't really set the bag down with the dog in it. But once he's in, he's very happy- we hike all over with the dogs to get to rock climbing routes and so far the bag has been great! If you are going a long distance, it does put a lot of pressure on your shoulders since there is no belly strap. However, overall, it works well and puggy seems to enjoy coming along for the ride with no effort. Happy hiking!

my dog is a cocker spaniel, she weights 18 pounds and usually shes a size XL in clothing ordered from amazon but collars and regular size she usually is size M. She fits great in this sack, was very easy to use but still gave her a few treats around it so she'd feel safe, the bag has a sturdy zipper so she looks safe. cant wait to use it. other than that there's not much room for anything else than a water bottle on the side because she fills the whole bag basically.

So the pros to this bag are that it fits my nearly 30 pound obese pug in it. And he looked very comfortable in it. Haven't found a lot of bags that can hold that big of a dog. He's very tall also for a pug. I had to order the large, but it fit and he wouldn't get out of it when I put him down on the ground. The cons are that it's not that easy to get the dog in, at least for me, yet. I've only used it twice however. And it was difficult the first time, to get the dog in and be able to zip it up, the second he was in pretty quickly. I feel like for me, I need someone to help me hold the bag up around their legs while I zip it. At least until I'm better at it. I actually bought this bag for my other pug who is very arthritic and old and cannot walk very far because I want to take her to some trails so she can explore and smell before she's unable to walk at all. Haven't put her in it yet because I don't want to mess with her legs too much until I'm actually taking her someone, but I know she will fit now. The only question I have about this bag is that the bottom is narrow so the dogs butt/back end/legs really wouldn't have much room it seems like to be very comfortable. And since their back legs have to stay in the bag it just seems to squished up to me. Not sure if they would be hurting after being squished up like that too long. Also if the dogs not light weight it's definelty going to be hard to carry them. I know I won't make it far with my dog in the bag, but that's okay, the bag does serve the purpose. And the quality does seem really good.

This is great. The step by step instructions were easy to follow and worked the first time. Great for travelling in ferries and walking through country markets where small dogs feel like they are going to be trodden on. Quality is great and he feels very secure especially with the back supporting straps.

The rucksack is okay but please be absolutely sure you know what size you need as for some reason you can’t return this item. Very, very poor Amazon, I will now rethink my future purchases.

Could not physically put my 20 lb. Dog in the backpack by myself. I travel solo so without help from someone else I would never be able to manage to get my dog hoisted onto my back.
