I bought this doorknob for use on an external door that I've had to replace the doorknob on multiple times. The prior doorknobs I installed were all inexpensive brass-plated models. They wound up oxidizing and/or peeling after 4-5 years. So this time I decided to spend a little more and get a stainless steel version.Although I haven't had this doorknob installed for a long time, it is well made, easy to install, and easy to make numerous types of adjustments to. I also like that the escutcheon, doorknob, wood screws, strike-plate, key cylinder all appear to be made out of stainless steel.

This is a strong and sturdy door knod! If only it had fit my doors preexisting hole.

A little pricey but smooth action in a well-made Grade 2 locking door knob. The mechanical action is tight and works smoothly. Installation is a little different from the 'regular' locking door knobs - must cut two small 1/8" notches into the door for the plates to lock in. I used a dremel tool fitted with a small grinding wheel to notch both steel and wood doors. I will buy more of the same if i need them.

BE WARNED - Not a standard size. Bought 2 of these as replacement locks, only to find out they can't be used in the existing holes.

Looked everywhere for a replacement lockset that I could key to match the building's existing Schlage locksets.These fit the bill perfectly.They are great for light-duty commercial as well as heavy-duty residential, as advertised.Quality is 100%

Was expecting more from this item, have to open with the key instead of turning to unlock and then turning the knob. Kinda stupid
