Callaway Golf Elyte Driver

You might want to consider shortening your driver length to the same length as this as opposed to plunking money down for yet another driver replacement. One of the hidden truths of the modern driver is that the shafts are way too long, such that most professional golfers never play them at the lengths sold in the consumer market. It is just too difficult to control at 45.75” or longer for the average player and is substantially easier at 2” shorter. That aside, this is a very nice forgiving and consistent club. I highly recommend it. However, I just didn’t hit it quite as well as my recently shortened driver and ultimately returned it.

Fantastic club. Much straighter and consistent with very little, if any, loss of distance. Feels great, sounds great, looks great. I really like this club. I feel like I have much more control and confidence in my drive. Well worth the money as far as I am concerned. Very happy that I purchased this.

Great driver for a small woman. Easier to swing has it has 3 wood length with a smaller head than a normal driver but driver loft

Was always hitting a standard length driver as I always bought used clubs as I only golf occasionally. Most clubs I bought were always standard shaft length. This year have committed more to the game and started customizing what's in the bag a bit more. I am a short in height golfer (5ft 2") and the shorter 43.75" stock shaft on this club as well as the slightly smaller driver head have given me way more confidence off the tees on the range and on the course. Consistent fairway finder! Extremely forgiving mishits when you have them. Overall have had a much tighter dispersion on shots. Club feels fantastic in hands and looks beautiful at address. I have been hitting this club longer and straighter than my previous driver as I am making way better contact with the stock setup of this club. May not be the answer for everyone, but I think worth a try for anyone looking to have more confidence at address, looking for more consistency in accuracy/dispersion, or if you're a shorter in height golfer looking for an easier option to hit off the tees. Distance wise this club generally won't be longer for most golfers but for those that struggle with solid strikes and finding the middle of the club face on a standard driver than this club may help with that slightly. I'm NOT hitting this driver 50+ yards further than my previous driver, but due to having better swing consistency and contact with this club, I am getting about 10-15 yards longer on average and been hitting way straighter. I still have lots of work to do on my driver swing in general, but with my new found confidence with this driver in my hands I will be working on my driver game a lot more. If you have the opportunity to try this club in a golf store or during a fitting I do recommend giving it a go. Could be that driver or 3wood/5wood replacement club or a great in between option from driver to whatever wood range you're looking to fill a gap for. I had the opportunity to try a demo club at a local proshop prior to purchasing. Would have bought it from the local ProShop, but they had some stock issues with the configuration I wanted and was able to find the club and preferred configuration on Amazon. Driver did come with Callaway Elyte Mini Driver headcover.
