The fashionable lace-up boots by Jack & Jones are a must-have and can be combined with many styles. The men's shoes immediately impress with their leather upper. The inner material and the textile insole are a real treat for the feet and surround them pleasantly soft. Thanks to the outsole made of rubber you are always good with this footwear. In combination with a pair of jeans and a casual shirt, the lace-ups really stand out. Whether for a meeting with friends or a weekend getaway, this lace-up boot by Jack & Jones is a must-have for stylish men.

Great value
Let's clear this up now. These boots are great value for the price - £60 for a brown pair. The leather is good quality... but also quite thick so the boots need some wearing in. The laces are a decent length - not too short. A good looking boot that initially seems durable. I took the advice to buy a size bigger... mistake. The size 10 was too big. The free returns system is a breeze - a size 9 was with me two days later at no extra cost. All good - happy with them.Update in June: The boots wore in really well and after some initial discomfort they are now ok, but the rear sole on one boot came away from the leather. Fixed with strong glue but that shouldn't have happened.

Good boot
Great pair of boots. I’ve never had a pair with a zip fastening before and worry that the laces are just got show or will be poor quality but these boots have been great. Easy to slip off and on with the zip. Can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion, look great with jeans but also with smarter trousers, hard wearing and comfortable, good fit, I usually take an 11 (UK) and find Dr martens usually fit the best but these were perfect

Still a good boot but reduced quality and product images now wrong
This is my third pair of these boots. They last me about 15 months of almost daily use and I love their design.BUT, I immediately notice that the reason they're approx £10 cheaper this year is reduced material quality. Now, understand that I've had them on for literally 2 hours, so whether they don't last as long as the last 2 pairs or prove to have cheaper materials throughout remains to be seen, but straight away the metal parts have been changed. See the antiqued finish brass buckles and lace eyelets in the picture? Nope. They're now silver metal painted dark brown. At least they're still metal. At time of writing (21/04/2020, £62.99) the product photos are now wrong - those brass pieces are NOT what you get - see my attached photo.I'd love to hear from Jack & Jones why they thought it would be a good idea to do that to what's a key element of the "vintage" style of these boots.Hopefully they'll have unscrewed this change by next year if I want a fourth pair!So far, then, that's them dropped to 4 stars. I'll be sure to revise that if they prove to have become less well made in other ways in coming months. At this point the leather, laces, soles and build don't /look/ to have been cheapened. We'll see.

Comfortable versatile ankle boots. Don't last.
These are the most comfortable fitting boots I've owned. Due to lace and zip design can adjust the laces for a comfortable fit when zipped up. I'm a biker and love using these for riding. Not slip on so won't come off and sturdy enough. Can also be used as casual/smart foot wear. Easy to put on when unzipped. Good style Portuguese leather foor wear. Use good quality Kiwi polish to look after the leather and they will look after your feet even when raining. Slight downside is the soles are soft and wear fairly quickly hence 4 stars. However, have had this pair, one of the 3 pairs I purchased, re-soled in same style and solves that problem. The leather varies in texture, but then is a natural product.Update. One of my 3 pairs has fracture near where sole has joined heal. Beyond repair. 1st pair of 3 has stitching coming away. May be repairable. All 3 pairs have parts of the heel infill coming away on both sides. Also the original soles very poor quality and wear out extremely quickly. What appears to be stitching around the sole is just in the infill and serves no practical purpose to the strength of the connection of the sole to the upper. This also appears to be a weak point allowing the sole to fracture in this area.

Great quality!
I had been looking for a replacement pair of brown leather boots with a zip. I wear them almost all day every day and found they are wearing very well. I will likely be buying another pair as a spare pair incase they are no longer available. Highly recommend.
