Cool jacket, weird fit, kinda shiny
These are solid jackets for the price, though they're less soft-shell and more fleece with a printed poly top layer. They're wind resistant and will handle a light shower with ease. The black design is a little dark. I've seen other kryptek typhoon patterns with seemingly more grey. My biggest issue is that I'm a medium. I have two of these jackets in large and small, because in both cases I returned the medium. This large fits like the first medium I got in the green jacket (a little big for me but small for a medium.) The medium in typhoon fit a little more like a small. So be prepared to try a couple different ones on. I have a pair of boots from Ariat that have the same issue. I'm a 10.5 but in these boots i needed a 9.5. My buddy has this same coat. His medium fits me like a dream, but was purchased in store. I once spoke with an ex employee of Ariat who worked in their QA or math department? (I dunno something to do with numbers and quality and stuff.) And he said he wasn't surprised because they'd had some supplier issues when they started moving from boots to "everything" that he didn't want to get into and it was easier and cheaper for them to just send the products out anyway. Regardless the quality is still high once you get past the sizing inconsistencies. Still if you can swing it Id order two and plan on returning one. Also on the off chance you're using this for actual night time camo, be advised its slightly shiny, not a lot but enough that it will catch a little bit of light.

Meant for slender tall people.
They run tall... And slender...I'm a short dude I'm 5'7 and some change (this change matters) and I got the small, I assumed it would fit me as most small and medium fit shirts fit me just fine however I am also built from weight lifting and because the material is very stiff it sort of feels like it was meant for a slender man as it folds awkward if your chest is bigger than waist. The small had large sleeves assuming they meant a small as in body thickness but a tall person 5'10 and above would be okay with the sleeves. So if you're slender and 510 to 6 then get the small.

Can you see me now?
Basic no frills soft-shell. Has some ok water resistance. Isnt noisy. I'm 6' 170 and the small fit fine, so I agree it runs large. The mandrake color is good for more wooded areas/spring time though depending on location and coloring you could use it all the way through winter if theres enough evergreens. I'm really liking the kryptek patterns. Both people and critters have a hard time finding me. I also like that its decidedly un mil spec looking.

Great jacket
I am 6'2" 190 and XL fit me fine in sleeves. Obviously there is always a little extra room in an XL around the middle for me. I love the typhon camo pattern and and underarm zippers are nice to vent jacket if you get too hot

good quality & pattern
good quality & pattern, but giving it three stars only for the sizing which is too big, always order one size smaller than what you usually wear.

Great coat !!!
Great mid weight coat. For a LG the body and sleeves are actually correct in length, unlike the KRYPTEK brand Cadog Coats, plus its way cheaper, so I bought both colors.
