Lift your listening sessions to another level.
These XL pads I'm using on my Monoprice Modern Retro headphones and they fit perfectly. The comfort is great, the material is ultra soft, the texture is smooth. They provide good isolation and can enhance low end marginally in a good way. This is a must have for every headphone user.

Total Game Changer
I had bought these for my pair of Samson SR850s as the earpads that came with the set were of poor comfort and started to create discomfort and pain after wearing it for several hours. However buying these earpads were the best investment I could make when it came to audio. These provide excellent comfort as the ear sits inside of the earpad while the earpads themselves wrap around the ear and not press against it. This to me is excellent comfort. Please note that these earpads are way bigger than your default Samson,AKG and Beyerdynamic models. As for the difference in sound quality the highs have become a little more sharper and the bass has become more pronounced since there is more room inside the chamber for the sound to move around. One gripe I have at the moment with these earpads are that they often tend to slip from the head since they are really big, but this would depend more on what kind of strap system that comes with the pair of headphones you're using.I would give this a solid 8/10 overall.9/10 for comfort7/10 for value for money as they are a little too expensive for what you get.

Quality product at a reasonable price
Fits my AKG K702 perfectly. Noticed a crisper highs and tighter low-end with subtle balance throughout the frequency range.Very comfortable over years with quality memory foam for long sessions. My only issue was with the packaging as it came in the Brainwavz zipper package without the outer Amazon packaging.

Nice! Much comfort. Very wow.
I am using this on Samson SR850 headphone which is made by superlux. They look like those AKG wireframe headphones. Those are good for the price, but the earcups were so bad and stiff. These took care of that issue. It was soft enough and well made. I am sure these will last very long because of the quality and the material. They are a bit expensive for a first time buyer but what else brand is there with a compatibility listing?Google out Hardware BBQ for PC hardware reviews.

Great replacement for stock pads
Received the product really well packaged and on time. Just started using the pads with my Hifiman HE-500s and hence can't comment on durability of the product. But, I can say that these are bigger than the stock pads as you can see in the photo. Also, the difference in sound quality that I perceive is not noticeable w.r.t. to the stock pads. Although, I can definitely say that these are definitely more comfortable than the stock ones. Hoping for even longer listening sessions!! :-)

Works with Samson SR850
I wish it was slightly priced less.Everything else is amazing. I found this more comfortable than the stock padding that came with my SR850.All in all its a great investment if you work with headphones for long hours.Although using headphones continuously may damage your ear.

Amazing for the DT 770 Pros
Works like a charm. Simply put these earpads brought life into my old Beyerdynamic DT770 Pros. I use them for mixing and mastering and boy did the old ones really go bad. These new pads are comfy, fit perfectly over my ears and do not fatigue me at all, whereas my original pads would make me feel fatigued in about an hour or so of use at moderate levels.

Adds back some bass to open backs, and looks way better than velour.
Super comfy, great looks, and added some low end back to the mix. Fit great on both my k712 Pro's and my ATH-AD700x's. I wish they came in more colors than red and black, but I guess we cant be too choosy now can we?Great quality and value, I'm a brainwavz customer for life !

AKG K702
I wasn't sure if I wanted to order the Brainwavz XL in Micro Suede, or if I wanted to dish out the extra cost for the Dekoni's. Ultimately, after reading reviews and comparisons - As sparse as they may be for the K702's, I decided to go with the Brainwavz.Pros: One of my biggest issues with the K702's is how shrill they are, it made listening to rock and metal music exhausting. Rap and electronic music sounded great, but once you threw in a more treble guitar oriented mix, it was rough. The Brainwavz absolutely tame the high end and make these headphones sound exactly how I wanted them to. They emphasize the bass, albeit only slightly, mellow out the high mids, and completely warm up the treble. I love it.The memory foam is so soft and squishy, and the square profile is what I prefer over the K702's stock round earpads. Likewise, the Micro Suede is way softer than the stock pads. It's great and doesn't feel cheap. So far I haven't had any issues with the suede bleeding dye onto other surfaces - And believe me, I tried. Both with paper and paper towels. I even used a damp towel. No bleeding. Maybe this issue has been resolved? Or maybe it will show up in the future. I don't know. Comfort is amazing, either way.Cons: They don't use AKG's clip mount bracket, instead opting to wrap around the outside of the headphone cups. Generally this wouldn't be an issue, but the pleather wraps a bit too far around the surface of the cups, over the open metal grill. The result is that you end up with an experience that feels much more like semi-open headphones instead of true open headphones. This is especially true on the K702's which I wouldn't consider "true open" to begin with due to the center being blocked.Overall, if you can get past how these earpads are mounted, and you're also looking to tame the stock sound of the K702's, you honestly can't go wrong. The microsuede material is nice and softer than I imagined it ever would be, and while I am still curious about the Dekoni version of these earpads, I do think for my particular use case I made the right decision.

Fits Audio-Technica ATH-ADG1X & ATH-ADG1
Theses fit my Audio-Technica ATH-ADG1X & ATH-ADG1 quite well. I have the G1X, but the closed ear model have the same ear pads. They are comfortable, and fit the headset nicely. I haven't noticed any frequency degradation, and that's most likely due to open back design. Average price, but their online support has been fantastic when I was asking questions about the fit / finish of the various sizes from this manufacturer. I can't speak to longevity of the pads, but stitching is solid, and they feel nice! Give UM a try!
