Viewsonics 8-Port Passive Return Signal Amplfier To Split OTA Antennas To Multiple Devices

I live in an area with poor FM radio reception. I have an outdoor antenna and with this device I was able to install FM antenna jacks in multiple rooms of the house. Much better than using just an eight way splitter. No signal loss. Works great!

I connected this product to my house mail cable line and it does what it is supposed to do. I noticed that it boosted my signal and my TV channels look crystal clear. I think that future design should be made to use the existing power from the cable line, instead of using its own external power source.

The outside metal is very weak I attempted to mount it as a splitter amp in my Attic and it broke in half

Bought this when increasing the number of branches on my cable system from four to five. My previous 4-port splitter wasn 't amplified but with an 8-port splitter i wanted amplification and I hoped the stronger signal would also solve a problem that my cable box occasionally doesn't lock onto a channel the first time. Cable box still has the problem, but that has nothing to do with the splitter. Have a strong signal on all ports and that is what it is supposed to do. As s reminder you need terminators for unused output ports.

8 port Cable TV Amplifier with Passive Return for a really good price. I intend to use for Over The Air Antenna use. It states on the box that if you have satellite, DO NOT USE THIS DEVICE. It is not designed for satellite installations. Nuff said on that. Great price, quick delivery, and works flawlessly!
