DiSano Durum Wheat Pasta, Penne, 1kg (2 x 500g)

One of the best quality pasta's I came across recently. Cooking time is also very less compared to other products. The shape is good, it won't break even after cooking. If you are a pastaholic like me, you will try any and all pasta with a variety of sauces and "gravies". This one is, in a word, Yummy!!

The product is good as o have used it earlier too but the packaging was bad. Out of the 2 packects from this combo, one of the packet was torn on the side.

Tried Disano Penne Pasta on a friend’s recommendation. It is durum wheat pasta which makes it healthy. Also, it is easy to boil and doesnt break. It is preservative free and also light on pocket and stomach. I have ordered spaghetti too as I wanted to try that one too.

Product is very good, recommended but one of the packs was fully broken and all the pasta had spilled out into the Amazon bag. The Amazon bag itself was intact though. So it is a packaging mistake rather than a delivery issue. Care must be taken to check food packets are properly sealed and appropriate packing used to avoid such issues.

I bought this for ₹175/- (pack of 2) and following are my observations.PROS👍 Definitely cost effective, at less than ₹90/- per pack of 500 grams it is the cheapest available option for traditional imported pasta.👍 Have consumed 1.5 packets till now and its all veg ( no insects/ants observed like pointed out in a few other reviews, maybe a particular batch got affected).👍 Has a shelf life of 24 months and I got an 8 month old package. (SELLER - Cloudtail India)CONS:👎 A bit goeey and sticky. Somehow I am not convinced that it is 100% wheat. Suggested to boil for about 2-3 minutes more than usual.=======VERDICT=======Cost effective traditional pasta, would definitely recommend it

This penne wheat pasta has really good flavour.Even the shape cut is perfect.Then the texture , all is very nice.The pasta gave a very good taste when it was cooked.The packaging was very neat and tidy, totally value for money.

Disappointed. I have been member of Amazon from the initial period. I have never faced a situation like this, even though Amazon solved the problem. The Expiry date has been deliberately defaced. after careful examination i found it to be 12th january, 2022. The stock sent to be was almost two year old. There were insects and the pasta was forming powder. you can see from the photos. The supply has been made by Cloudtail Amazon partner. Defacing the expiry date is a crime. Amazon should look into this very strongly.
