Great Looking Costume Prop - For the PriceSpirit has really enabled a whole class people to enjoy Ghostbusters wish fulfillment that was for a long time only available to really crafty/talented builders and folks willing to shell out a lot of money for gear.These things look awesome and have some fun functionality at face value.With a little bit of work you can really make these your own and pretty darn near screen accurate.Gripes on build quality. Soldering is cheaply done. Wiring is substandard. Plastic is subject to breakage very easily. This is not a toy. If it gets played with like one, it will break. That being said it is an awesome piece to make a project.The motor that moves the wings is anemic and the gear box whines pretty loudly. I've seen the leds on multiple units go out shortly after getting out of the packaging. With some soldering, I was able to get mine working again. In Spirits defense, they did provide me with a full refund and let me keep the thing!The sound effect is way to loud and obnoxious. The beeping is not screen accurate but works... just way to loud. There is an unfortunate static/or EVP sound behind the beeping that plays the whole time though and it just sounds terrible. Recommend putting hot glue inside the sound holes to muffle the sound or disconnect the speaker altogether.Takes two AAA batteries that seem to go out waay too fast for what this thing does.

This PKE meter is fun to have and play with. The lights look great and it doesn't look too plastic-y. However, there must be some cold solder joints in the unit. I was able to use it for about 5 minutes then it just stopped working. Changed and tested batteries which do work. After taking it apart and testing all the connections, it started to work again. Most likely there was a cold solder joint that after touching every connection with a multimeter, it make the connection again. Otherwise, great piece to have!

This PKE Meter is fun to use and well made. I got mine for a mostly screen accurate costume, and it’s a blast to “hunt” ghosts with the kids. They love the lights and sounds which are of good quality, despite not being perfectly accurate to the movies. No biggie. A good buy!

Two different modes, A full power cycle and a cycle on and continuous operating mode with LED screen and arm detector lights. (See attached Video) Its not 100% accurate if you're looking for that. BUT it is a very good representation of the original from the movie. If you're into upgrading props there are numerous people doing that very thing with these, and this is a great starting point to use.Other than that this pretty much has all the bells and whistles of the more expensive PKE's out on the web but at a fraction of the cost. It will make a great addition to a Ghostbusters Costume

It’s a birthday present for my son who loves Ghostbusters. I gave it to him early he’s so pleased.

Well it's what it says it is,worth it for what the cost is, a good prop.

Nice add-on to the ghostbuster role play or Halloween costume. Lights and sound simulate “ghost tracking” (beeping slowly increases as you near a ghost). Great prop.My 5 year old loves it (and dad secretly does as well.).

Die Lieferung Carhartt relativ schnell geklappt hat. Wer allerdings bei der Einlieferung er war die Verpackung bereits ausgepackt und Hörgerät wurde offensichtlich bereits benutzte. Hör wir haben das Gerät ausprobiert herunter festgestellte dass das nicht geht. Nach einiger Zeit ging doch das Geräte unter wo ich schon zurücksenden wollte, hat Gerät plötzlich angefangen zu funktionieren Punkte da mein Sohn sehr davon enttäuscht war und unbedingt das Geld behalten wollte habe ich jetzt die Rücksendung storniert aber ich finde das eine Frechheit ein benutztes Gerät zuzuschicken was auch am Anfang nicht funktionierte die Batterien habe ich sofort ausgetauscht die sind nur für die Mülltonne geeignet eigentlich ein ganz schlechtes Service sehr schlecht schlecht schlecht!
