Bought to replace an aging and slightly damaged Ryobi strimmer, this one seems more powerful and effective and is well-priced. Satisfied

Its great for strimming grass and thicker stuff. The twist system for edging is brilliant too. Easy to assemble and operate. As others have said, the weight is all in the head and it means your forearm is sore and weak after 5 minutes of use. If you have anything over than a little lawn to cut, it will hurt. Overall, It's still worth the money

Before I ordered this product I read a great many of the reviews, good,and bad, infact, I read a great many reviews on other machines and reviews on line of different makes. I have to say of all the negative reviews the only one I can agree slightly with is the weight, I don't think it's particularly heavy but this is an excellent, powerful strimmer and with that I expected a product that feels substantial and that's what it feels like, not heavy, sturdy. It was easy to put together, it took less than 5 mins and I was out in the garden to try it out.The 30cm cutting range makes quick work of our garden, wet grass, no problem, the results, smooth, neat well cut grass, regardless of thickness, the core didn't snap once either. The cable is a bit short but I always needed an extension cable anyway to reach the bottom of our garden.I'm very happy with this product and happily recommend it.☺

Brilliant piece of kit, though it should come with spare spools as you get through them quite quickly! It isn't the lightest either!

Disappointed as attachment doesn't fit that model strimmer, and apparently there is no attachment to fit that model. Shame really because it all looked ideal quality. ☹️☹️

build and power quality is very good, decided on the mains version, right choice for me, previously brought a chinese strimmer /import /battery operated which started smoking and gave up after one go.(lesson learnt).Couple of niggles, i was under the impression that you got a spool and a small no of blades.u don't get any blades! so I can't comment on their performance The spool on the Ryobi didn't auto feed as I expected, but press the feed button and manually pull out to lenght and it was ok.You will go though it quicky ,if you have a large garden.so you have to buy spools as they run out, or reload ? yourself. Mind you I was cutting damp grass up to the fencing.the Ryobi has a single wheel for edging, but i wonder if a easy to fit a db wheel might be an option.Ignore the niggles and the price drop to £60? elsewhere (i nearly sent it back. its worth buying.
