These are really magnets that are high quality and very strong. I actually am not using them for the intended use (badge holders), but they have been perfect for my own, sort of strange use.I was tired of using straight pins to keep fabric together while sewing, because I was always poking myself and putting small holes in the garments I was making, which is definitely not what I want. So, I came up with the idea to use magnets to hold together the fabric instead of straight pins. I ended up ordering a variety of magnets from Amazon, and these were the winner! The long bar makes them great for holding together a good sized area, and the magnet placement on either ends, makes it strong, but not so strong that it's impossible to pull off of the fabric. It actually has sped up my sewing process significantly! Hopefully this little tip will help someone else who is having the same issue. It has been a lifesaver for me, and I'm on my third package of badge holder magnets! :)

The magnetism of these are fantastic. If I get too close to my shed though I may think it is too strong! Great hold. I use these for craft projects other than name tags because of their shape and strength. The latest use was for a deflector for my room air-conditioner and a wooden tissue box cover. Having both sides be the same size is a bonus.

This really is a simple product. one part has a piece of metal with doubled sided tape to apply on whatever you want to make as a badge or so, on the other hand is a piece of metal with 2 magnets. The magnets are really strong, my metal badge didnt budge at all. Some people complain the magnet is too strong and they cant take it off their shirts/vests but if you twist the magnet part, you should be able to pry it off real easy.I bought this attachment because i was getting tired making holes with my badge that had a pin in the back. I highly recommend this item if you feel the same.Since this has strong magnets, please dont use this if you have a pace maker.

Bought these to replace the name tag backing I got from my job. The one I got from work had a safety pin on the back, and I didn't want to make holes in my shirts. These had an adhesive back, and affixed to my name tag easily after I pried the old one off. Be warned, these are heavier than some of the lightweight ones, due to the magnets, but Iiked them, and sold the rest of the package to coworkers.

There is nothing wrong with these magnets but there is a problem with what I think I need to fix a problem. I bought these things thinking it would allow me to shorten a set of curtains. No. They are exactly what it says, nametag clasps. You can't take the magnets off the metal strip either. Its not the sellers fault that I order the wrong product but they did send them very quickly and on time.Think your projects through before, unlike me.

I am so excited! These were exactly what we needed. Everyone at our hotel is constantly losing the backing to their name tags. I googled these and wha lah of course Amazon took me right to them! They DO have a source! So I purchased them right away and got them in the blink of an eye! Yaay Prime! Anyway, they are strong and perfectly what I was hoping they would be! So happy. I am sure we as a hotel will be ordering more after I share this batch with my staff!

I ordered this package after losing the backing from my magnetic name tag. The new magnet bar is working perfectly, and it's nice to have spares! I can't vouch for the adhesive half of the setup though; I haven't had to replace that portion of my name tag yet.

Solid little magnets. I got them to convert some metal name tags for my work uniform. They seem to keep it in place well, though I doubted the strength of the little adhesive strip from the start and just scraped it off and used some epoxy instead.

these work awesome for holding name tags and not poking holes in shirts!

Good quality. Very strong magnets for use in nameplates. Goodbye safety pins!
