Has anyone used this in the microwave?

I placed the empty cup in the microwave for 30 seconds and it became slightly warm to the touch. I cooled it and placed 1/2 cup of water in it and microwaved it for 30 seconds again. The water was quite warm although not scalding. It was uncomfortably warm. The outside of the cup was also warm below the water line but still only slightly warm above it.

Can they store inside each other?

Yes, they can store inside each other like Russian Dolls. You should know though that they are very thin (fragile). I needed to replace a different brand measuring glass because I dropped it and it broke. I use them quite often. I didn't realize how thin these would be. I still love them though.

Markings appear to be European measurements, not U.S. Imperial...correct?

They have three ways to measure; cups, mls, ounces.

is this strong enough to use with aeropress?

I doubt it, the glass is much thinner than I expected.
