A bit difficult to get started
It has a lovely sound -- when you can get it to make a sound. (I've played traditional flute for 55 years, so it's not as if the instrument is that different.) I worked with it for about 15 minutes today, got frustrated and put it back in its case. I'm sure I will get comfortable with it after a time but I expected to be able to at least run a scale the first time I used it. The fact that I could NOT do that makes me unhappy.

Terrible instrument
The flute did not play well at all, and the seller was of no help whatsoever. A waste of money.
