Review after 4 years of use.
I have been using this hard drive since last 4 years, good read (96MBps) and write (95MBps) speed. Its going strong; no bad sectors or whatsoever developed on drive till now. So seems like it's bang for buck. Go for it.

Good product
The hdd arrived today and it fits in my dell inspiron n5110 laptop and also working. As of now no problem is seen. Will post again after few days of checking. For now i am satisfied with the product. One star down for the packaging. Amazon could have done better in packaging. The packaging was so bad. Anyway thanks amazon for the good hdd.

My drive didn't last for 6 months and warranty was also denied due to "small scratch on the label"
Drive died after a few months of moderate use, I used it for a second internal drive for my Dell XPS L502x .HGST after sales service was decent, but when inserting the drive into the bay of the laptop, try not to scratch the label by accident as it voids the warranty (this is what happened to me and I lost the data and the drive). If they would have accepted the RMA I would have given 5 stars.Get it if you have no other go and are on a budget, else get WD / Seagate

My laptop had a low space ssd and fortunately had an extra slot, which could only fit a drive of height 7mm. I was a bit sceptic about slow read, write speeds I would have with a 5400rpm device so thought I needed a 7400rpm hard drive. But there weren't many devices of 7mm height and it was hard finding one and fate led me to this.I have used it for a month and haven't had anything to complain about . The speeds are great, it is amazingly silent, the battery consumption isn't too high for the rpm and for me it is the best 7mm device out there, that installs without any fuss .Since you have scrolled down to see the reviews, trust me and buy it.

Awesome 9.4 mm HDD replacement | Value for Money
7mm HDD as a direct replacement for 9.5mm HDD. With a perfect fit for my lenovo Z570 which actually is designed for 9.5 mm HDD - this was a concern when I bought the product. But it did fit in perfectly and is a delight to use, Best option for value for money and added 7200RPM speed. Highly recommended.
