Mostly good but not quite enough warmth for my ears
Let me start off by saying that I hate wearing hats. But when it's really cold out, I have to do something. My primary concern seems to be my ears. My thick hair keeps most of my head warm enough, but my ears get cold easily. I got this hat because of the shearling lining and ear flaps. The hat itself fits well and is very comfortable, but my ears are not quite warm enough when wearing it. Just enough wind gets through around the flaps to make my ears just a tad uncomfortable. And yes, I do tie the braids to keep the flaps close to the skin. I still like the hat (as much as I can like any hat). It's cute, and the shearling lining keeps most of my head warm. I could use just a little more protection for my ears, but it's not too bad.

... (with free prime shipping) and it looks and fits great! I have a 21
This hat arrived today (with free prime shipping) and it looks and fits great! I have a 21.5 inch circumference head and it fit just right. It's not too tight or too loose. It would likely be too large for a young girl, but should work for an older child/teen or one with a larger head. There is a Sherpa lining all around the inside of the hat until you get to the "dome" of the top. I'm guessing that this will provide ventilation so that your head doesn't get too sweaty as it's a very toasty hat! It appears well made, the colors are just as the picture on the description (multi with black background). I am very pleased with my new hat :)

Cute, but not fully lined
This is super cute and fits well. I specifically bought this for shoveling the snow because it was lined...only to find out the fur/sherpa lining only goes up to the top teal stripe. If you put your hand inside you can actually see your fingers right through the material it's so thin. I don't see how that can keep your head warm so I purchased a clearance hat with the same lining from Walmart to cut the top off of and finish lining this one. It's more effort than I was expecting, but don't see many hats with fur lining in general so I guess it's worth it. If the entire inside was lined I would have purchased another!

Really beautifully designed winter hat with warm lining
Really beautifully designed winter hat with warm lining. The colors are muted yet rich with very pretty designs. This cap is thick and warm, coming down over the ears. My daughter suffers severe ear pain in the cold and this is perfect. Love this hat!

RUNS HUGE
This is a really nice hat, well made, great color and the inside is toasty. If only it did't run so big. I have an average size head and this was beyond too big.My dog likes to wear it though.

Terrible chemical smell - and isn't fully lined.
This hat is really, really cute. And it is nicely lined through SOME of the hat - just the lower half. But there is no lining at the top 1/2 of the hat (by the pom pom), which isn't stated anywhere in the description. That is a deal breaker for me - I needed a fully lined hat.But the lining aside, the chemical smell is just beyond belief AWFUL!!! Oh my! What is this made of?!?!?!If this hat would be chemical-free and fully lined, it would easily be 5 stars for me. But it's just not wearable with the odor and the lack of lining.

Super cute, really warm
Great hat! Bought this in both the red/rainbow color and the muted blue color. It fits nicely and it's super warm. The faux shearling lining doesn't go all the way to the top of the hat, so I think it's supposed to be a bit slouchy at the top (fine by me). I noticed another reviewer said it was really big; however, I have a small/normal size head and it fits great. My 13-year-old daughter (super skinny minny) wears it just fine, too - just don't pull it all the way down (that slouchiness I mentioned above) and it has a nice fit/will keep you warm. :-)

CAME WITH LICE
This hat was exactly what I was looking for but... after wearing it for about 30 minutes, I felt bugs crawling around on my scalp. I washed it before the first wearing the first time in Woolite and cold water. The bugs must not have minded the bath. After I took it off, I washed it in Woolite and cold water again. I treated my scalp and didn't feel critters crawling on my head for a few days. I decided to fumigate the hat in a sealed plastic bag with a "NO PEST STRIP," for 4 days. I stripped my bed and washed all bedding in hot water and Pine Sol. I washed all of the clothes I was wearing in Pine Sol also. I am now battling the little crawlers again! Their life cycle seems to be about 9 to 12 days. Once more I am treating my scalp, bedding and cloths as well as my scalp. I thought international shipments were fumigated. What happened?
