To manufacturers: Want me to review your items, just let me know!I love this Komelon Gripper Speed-Mark tape measure. My old thin/cheap one that I used upstairs finally pushed me to the brink to the point where I wanted a new one. I have a Craftsman that I use as well but that is in the 'shop.' If you're using a cheap tape measure, you know the dance of trying to get the tape to stay extended with our bending because of the cheap gauge of metal used in the tape. Not so with this Komelon. It's extremely sturdy. In fact, while holding the tape measure I can extend it almost 8' unsupported before it 'breaks.' Pretty incredible.Additionally, the gray tape is very easy to read and I love the measurements being listed in 1/8 increments with unlisted 1/16 marks as well. The roller mechanism is smooth and the locking mechanism sturdy and secure.A tape measure is one of those things easy to skimp on early in life when you don't understand the difference quality makes. And then when you upgrade, you'll never go back. This is the case with this Komelon and it's an easy repurchase if I need another one. I've even considered replacing my trusty Craftsman.

Feels nice real nice and sturdy. It is durable, with a thick, sturdy blade that extends up to 11 feet without bending. The lock feature makes measuring easy and precise, while the ergonomic, rubber-grip case ensures comfort and control. A reliable, high-quality tape measure for any project. Highly recommended.

Very well made. Will do an almost level standout of 7 feet. Way better than most tape measures I have spent 2 to 3 times the cost of this one.Lock works perfectly; Not too tight or too loose. Tape edges are not sharp. Easy to read. Fairly heavy and very solid. Rubber outer casing works well to prevent slippage.U.S. brands need to take note of this company's quality and price point.I don't know how it would hold up in a professional setting, but for $10 and home use I don't think you'll find anything better.The one I got was a product of S. Korea assembled in Viet Nam.

Hefty, well-made, perfect measuring tape!

I bought this even though it was a brand name I never heard of because it has the 16th marking right on the tape. Meaning you dont have to be thinking is that 3/16s or 11/16s, it actually says 3/16 on the tape. When I am working its sometimes hard to see the tape lines (as Im old) and being able to read the numbers makes it easier. The tape has a nice feel and is slightly more compact in size than other tapes. The case is rubberized so you dont have to worry as much about scratching a table if you lay it down, unlike a lot of brands that are hard plastic. The lock feature is a novel design, we'll see if it holds up over time. The reason I bought this was because I had two other brand tapes have the lock break on the same day. This one is good so far.

Good tape and decent price
