Lender's, Original Plain Bagel, 12 Ounce

These things are smaller than other bagels I have tasted,. However they are the best as far as I'm concerned

We love these bagels and they have become rather hard to find during the pandemic. We have tried several other brands but none compare to these. They get nice and crunchy on the outside and stay soft and chewy on the inside.

To minimize the frozen taste, I put one to thaw in the fridge overnight and in the morning toast it. The taste and texture are good, like a normal fresh bagel that's been toasted. My main complaint is the size, they are small! In the batch I received the bagels were midway between a mini bagel and a normal bagel. very disappointing. Now I know why they are so cheap.

Consistently happy with this brand. Easy item to keep in the freezer for quick meals. Happy with price.pro tip: for an easy last minute dinner make a pizza bagel but before putting on the sauce, put a cracker in the middle to cove the hole. keeps the cheese from melting out.

Very good taste but they should make these bigger and thicker.

Other reviewers complained about the size, but I thought I’d see for myself. Well, to spare you the same mistake, I’m including a photo. The Lender’s bagels are about HALF the size of a Thomas’ bagel (pictured far left) or any other bagel you’d buy at a bakery. It’s only slightly bigger than the mini Thomas’ bagels (pictured far right). The taste is similar to the Thomas’ bagels, so not nearly as good as a fresh bagel from a bakery, but not horrible. I will not waste my money on these again because they are so small!

I’ve been enjoying for over 25 years.. great alone or with anything you choose
