Seems identical to OEM
Ryobi power head is a bit over 3 years old. I had a bit of trouble getting it started recently, but I eventually got it going. After 20 minutes or so I had to get something, so I shut it off and when I came back it would only idle on full choke. After a few hours of tinkering (checked spark plug, exhaust, used carb cleaner, new fuel) it would idle with the choke off, but any throttle would kill it. The whole thing only cost $99, so taking it to a repair shop for $65/hour didn’t make sense. It was out of warranty (and unless you have an authorized repair shop nearby that’s almost entirely useless). I decided to give this a shot before I just bought another one. 10-15 minutes spent swapping this out and it runs great again. An included gasket would have been nice, but the old one seems to be doing the job.

Carb is direct bolt on.
The carb bolted right on and it fired right up on my Homelite weedeater.

**UPDATE: reduced to 2 cuz Wrong jet… Direct oem replacement
**Update: Took this carb apart and found the center jet is not the correct size (left side of pic). Everything else is factory same as the original carb, including the model and markings. So I replaced the center jet with the one from the original carb (right side of pic) and the tool runs perfectly.This is a direct oem replacement with same brand and markings as the original. Unfortunately it did not fix my issue of bogging down, but it is working slightly better. I’ve replaced fuel lines, filters, spark plugs and carb. Issue persists.

Worked out well
It’s always better to fix them to replace. This part fixed the Weedwhacker ,the price was right and it was easily done.

This is a OEM carb for the price it’s well worth just swapping your old one vs time to clean the old carb, the only difference I found was the number on the metering block is different but carb body are identical with identical manufacture stamps fuel primer seems to be oem as well.
