What More Could You Ask For?
For $20, I got a DVD player/recorder that works just fine with my Dell Inspiron 17 Laptop. I bought it specifically so I could play my combat flight sim games when I'm away from home, which it does admirably, but it is a fully functional DVD drive that was recognized immediately by my laptop as such. I love the compact size, slightly larger than a CD case and about twice as thick, plus the USB 3.0 cord is self contained and snaps inside a recess on the bottom of the case. Well worth the money.

EZ Plug and play function, no problems on Windows
No drivers needed to install, just plugged and it mounted and functioned fine. Cord is fairly short - about 10 inches - so be aware that it needs to be placed pretty close to computer/laptop.

Good buy
My husband and I use this to watch red box movies on our laptop. We have new macs and they do not have a CD player. Perfect alternative

Rodzon CD is great
I would highly recommend this brand of Rodzon CDs because it's easy to use, plug and play, doesn't require much process, and it's very fast.I have it set-up and primarily use with Exact Audio Copy 1.3 to rip lossless copies of my CDs to FLAC format.As far as DVD burning/writing goes, I have never used this feature so I can't testify to it's effectiveness on this drive. As for cd ripping though, It has been nothing short of a great drive to use and I would highly recommend it if you are beginner or an experienced user of the art of CD ripping high recommenend！！

Great product, SHORT USB cable
This really fit the bill. My son has a computer with no optical drive, and my work replaced our computers with new models without an optical drive. For $23 this did the trick. Keep in mind the USB 3 connection is like 5 inches, so if you are using a desktop without close connections you will want to buy an extension (USB 3 if you want fast transfer). For the money, awesome.

It sucks
It sucks worked 2 days and that was it tried to get replaced or my money back ended up being more hassel than it was worth so just threw it in the trash

Rodzon portable dvd player 3.0 usb
Great little slimline portable cd/dvd player with 3.0 usb upload. I bought so I could download my install from a CD for my new brother printer. Download was quick and easy just plugged into my laptop and that was it!very pleased.5/5 starsPH

Not working
Bought on the 15th of October, I did not have a chance to use it. I tried on the 17th of November and it is not working at all... very disapointed.
