Great feeder
Just set up my second today. Very pleased so far with the feeders. Easy setup and keeps food dry. We had 30-40mph winds with rain last night and I checked today and completely dry on the inside.

Quality that works!
Received my banks gravity feeder and I’m very pleased with it. Easy assembly and quick installation such a simple but effective designI like the way the lid is completely removable for easy filling and seems to be made very sturdy and durable. Don’t have to waist feed on the ground. Saves money and is healthy for the deer herd.Very sturdy install on the single 4’x4’ treated post I cemented mine for stability feeder slides right down onto it. Very pleased with the resultThanks

Great Feeder and it Works!
The media could not be loaded. Bought this feeder from a recommendation. I've tried the feeders with timers and have some trough feeders. Coons kept hanging out in both just shoveling in the food. Wanted a feeder that didn't need batteries and maintenance and wasn't easily accessible to the critters. This feeder does it all! We did need to put a sleeve on the 4x4 to keep the coons from climbing up the post (as Banks recommends), but this was an easy fix. Also we had some turkeys that kept hopping up and picking out individual kernels of corn....but we adjusted the height of the openings and that took care of that problem. The reviews that said deer will acclimate in about 2 weeks is dead on. In this video it's been out about a week and a half. Deer are tearing up the corn and protein. Overall great feeder for our supplement feeding program. We now have 4 and couldn't be happier. Turn up the sound on the video and listen to them crunch away!

Pricey but good
This is the first gravity feeder that I’ve used. I do like the construction and the ease of installation. My only gripe is that the deer can access the feed 24 hours a day and end up, emptying the feeder out rather quickly my feeder tends to last a little less than a month, the deer seem to like it and visited regularly. I was hoping that because of the construction and design direct raccoons wouldn’t get into it very easily, but they are finding a way to get the rascally selves up there.

Tough product
Works good and fairly tough product, given the hogs and bears chewing and clawing it. Bears finally busted the base support around 4x4 after four seasons.

Very pleased with this purchase!
The only thing I would have done differently is ordered directly from Sportsman's Guide and saved myself the tax on this product. I've ordered directly from them several times before, but didn't even realize when ordering this from Amazon that it was coming from there. My mistake. Regarding the product, it's awesome and we've been watching deer eat from this feeder for about a month now. Mounts on a 4X4 post, and is gravity fed. Instructions that came with product are easy to follow and tell you exactly how long of a post you need and how deep of a hole you should dig to get the feeder at the ideal height for deer. We read other reviews where people had put tackstrips, etc., on the post to keep the squirrels, raccoons, and other knawing varmints away, so we implemented that technique ourselves right off the bat. Heavy duty plastic, well-made, and no moving parts or batteries to worry with.

Disappointed
Great idea, poor execution. I had high hopes I could feed my deer without feeding the hogs. The hogs quickly learn to bump the mounting pole and shake the feed out. Also squirrels have eaten the top up around the corners. I’m thinking about building a metal too for it.
