Sooooooo Carte D'or
I was quite skeptical about this mix but I thought 'what the hey" and went ahead and bought it. I am very glad I did as this packet mix is really really easy to make and tastes so decadent.I put 500ml semi skimmed milk and one of the three packets into an electric mixer and turned it on low (level 1-2) for 2 minutes as the instructions say. This is to incorporate all the dry powder into the milk so you don't get a puff of chocolate powder in your face. I then turned the mixer up to max (6) for 5 minutes and it didn't seem to do much in the first minute but then it started to volume up. It surprised me how much it whipped up to. Even though it whipped up lots, the texture was still thick like whipped whipping cream. The box says each packet will make 12 portions... it does not say how big the portions are though. I had a few (too many) GÜ glass pots saved for some reason (we all keep things for just in case... admit it lol) so got 12 ready to fill. I ended up with 16 and as you can see from the picture, they are filled near to the top with just enough room for some squirty cream to top it (I know there are only 4 in the picture but I was lucky to have that many left to photograph... my family ate the rest!) the Box says 12 portions per pack so 36 per box but if you use GÜ pots, then 16 portions per pack and 48 per box. at the price I paid for the box, each portion costs between £0.16 - £0.21 so well worth it.The Taste.... oh my goodness. It was amazing straight from the mixing bowl even though the instructions say place in the fridge for at least 90 minutes before serving. I couldn't wait! When the 90 minutes were up I had my family queueing up for one. In my families opinion, lets just say... I am buying another 2 boxes as soon as I finish writing this review. I may even try the lemon mousse too... and the panna cotta... and the Crème Brulee... yes... yes I may.Happy making everyone.

Delicious
Looked a bit expensive but there are three sachets in the box and when I made up half a sachet it made a large quantity of mousse. It actually works out at a reasonable price if you only make a bit each time so you don't waste any. Very nice taste like good quality mousse from a restaurant. Would recommend.

Powdered heaven!
Oh how have I spent my life without this beautiful stuff? First off as a desert it is to die for but added to a cake mix and you will find heaven!Literally mix with milk, sit in the fridge and you have pudding! It tastes decadent! As for a cake recipes! One box of: Betty Crocker Devil's Food Chocolate Cake Mix120g or half a sachet of the mousse3 eggs450ml of sour cream, I didn't have any so I just used milk80ml of a veg oil like olive120ml of waterlots of chocolate chips... it says 2 bags, I added 4. Don't judge me.Now I cooked this in a slow cooker on high for 2.5hrs That only uses 0.08kWh so here in Ireland that cost me €0.03 in total. You can cook it in the oven for an hour or so but just keep checking on it.

Nice
This is really nice. I made a sachet in a bowl and hand whisked it. Filled two large bowls and tasted really good.

Easy to make
This mousse is really quick and easy to make just whisk it with milk and it goes really thick. You can then pipe it into the dishes if you want to. I just spoon it in and then put a piece of chocolate brownie in the centre then top with some whipped cream and a few pieces of crumbled brownie. All goes down well with all age groups.I feel a bit of a cheat because it was so easy!Highly recommended

Lots of dessert for little effort!
Made brownie topped with mousse/white chocolate ganche individual desserts for a buffet. Everyone commented how delicious they were. One packet made 30 desserts with a little left over (which the kids stole/taste tested!) Easy to make (make sure the milk is fridge cold for best results) great flavour... now looking for different varieties!
